1. After getting a heinous cut under his eye from an elbow, Amir the Sweet wins, over CB the Mouthy, by armbar - in the 3rd round, I think?
 2. Jesse went partying in Vegas & rode the hubris train. Kicked the windows out of his limo, harassed women in the hotel bar, & went around yelling, “I’m a UFC fighter!”
 3. Dana tells Jesse he’s not ready for fame & kicks him out. Jesse weeps, with good reason.
 4. CB & Tim, as the losers of the semi-finals, battle it out for a chance to fight Amir in the finals. Dana calls the fight exciting. It is not. CB wins by unanimous decision. Tim is a class act, as always.

Did I forget anything, guys?
That’s a great summary. I agree that the CB-Credur fight wasn’t that great. The first round was really good, but both guys gassed early and the last 2 rounds were uneventful aside from CB nearly ending the fight with strikes in Round 2.

You’d think CB with his college wrestling background, would be in better shape. Guy gasses in just about every fight.

I really hope Amir beats him again. That armbar was so sweet.

you know that dana did the right thing and not only that gave him a chance to redeem
himself, so mabe we’ll see again later in the year, thats if he doesnt fucking drink
and go kablooey again

I don’t think so. If that is the way the guy acts now, he is only going to get worse. I know what Dana said, but I think that was more of a face save than anything. Rampage hit the nail on the head when he said “You don’t want a guy like that representing your company.”

3 thoughts from last night:

 • I finally realized that, in his interviews and promos, CB Dollaway reminds me of the Predator after he takes his mask off and is hit by Arnold with the log, and Predator does that lip curl thing. Bingo. CB is the Predator.

 • Dana White sitting Scarface-style in an oversized chair telling Jesse Taylor that “This is my town. I hear everything” couldn’t have felt more scripted or self-indulgent, but it was still kinda fitting.

 • I know rematches happen all the time in MMA, but it feels a little cheesy that the finale fight is a repeat of a semifinal match. Amir vs Credeur could’ve been a brutal stand-up fight of Bonnar-Griffin proportions.

Jesse is a boring fighter. I don’t think Dana will want him back for the lack of entertainment value he provides. Although, he did promise he’d reconsider.

The mob runs Vegas…not Dana White.

CB will win, but I hope Amir does. It’s impossible not to like Amir…he’s constantly doubting himself, but finding some way to win.

Hit the nail on the head.I think Dana also made a good point when he said “bro you have not even made the UFC yet, you are trying out for it. You ain’t famous yet”.

The thing that has wrecked TUF is the more than 1 contract. On the TUF finale, a total of 8 fighters (half the show) are on the card! I thought there was only 1 contract? So make it that way Dana. Think about it. Losing in the semi finals and in the first round doesn’t matter a whole lot if you both are going to get the same UFC contract in the end. (The guy who loses out later will make several thousand dollars more I guess).

sTill keep the guys who lose on the show and in the house, do not send them home, but no UFC contract for them after that is all. And plus I want to see MMA pros, not drunks who think they can step in a cage and beet the snot out of some of the best athletes in the world. Next year I would love to see, alcohol banned from the house, or less of it.

I watch TUF for the fights, not to see guys get smashed and wreck up a house. And just how can you keep the guys on the show if they wreck the house? If I was Dana I would kick guys off left right and center for smashing up the house. How do you think that represents UFC fighters to? Not a good image I tell ya. What I think Jesse did was wrong and stupid, but if for four months you were allowed to do whatever the hell you wanted with no consequences, and get paid a fair amount for doing it, things would go to your head. (Or at least it would go to mine.)

Amir is the shit.

You can’t help but like that kid. His quote about “If you lined up these 4 guys and told me I had to beat all of them in 6 weeks I would look at you and say no.” had me rolling. I hope he wins on Saturday.

You are missing the whole point, THEY want that shit to happen, why do you think they don’t provide any tv’s or computers or cell phones BUT they fill up their covers with as much alcohol as they want?

So they can do crazy shit!!

That builds drama into each season and give people something to watch besides the fights, it’s all about “reality tv and drama”. Don’t get me wrong though, I would much rather see more of their actual training and stuff, but I understand why they do what they do.

Otherwise each season would last only 5 or 6 episodes. The only difference is that when they have them caged in the house, they’re all “under control” and not out in the public.

The bottom line is that JT is a fucking idiot and wasted an opportunity that might not come his way ever again. I hope he learns from it, joins AA and get his priorities straight…

Ahahaha I totally fucking see it.

I thought the Tim v. CB fight was ok. It was much more exciting than I thought it would be. I was fairly sure that CB would either steamroll Tim in the first round or LnP to victory.

Here is what is gonna happen at the final. CB wins and if Amir was game Dana will give him a 6 fig contract as well. Reason being he already beat CB so it isn’t even close to fair to have the first fight not matter. I’m hoping Amir wins but I don’t think he will.

Only way I see Amir winning is if CB gasses again and or Amir goes to train with big MMA wrestlers. Team Couture would be a good choice cause A. Forrest wants him to beat the fuck out of CB and B. They have an amazing wrestling pedigree at that camp. If was able to get several months training in with heavy skilled wrestlers I think he can do well.

OKAY TIME FOR CONSPIRACY THEORIES

Conspiracy #1

Lol at Jesse. I seriously doubt Dana will ever have him back. I honestly only think he told him to call him in a few months is so that Jesse doesn’t sue him. There is no way that contract he currently has can allow him to release a fighter for any reason he wants even after the show was over.

If the contract did state that there would be no way it would be upheld in court. I forget the legal term but when two parties enter into contract and the contract is written by one partyA to totally favor that partyA and the other partyB has to take it or leave it.

Conspiracy #2

Everyone keeps going on and on about Amir’s cut. Fuck that shit!!! The guy has tougher skin than Big Nog who has skin like a Rhino. Amir has the skin from an Elephant/Rhino/Boar mating.

Thats right ladies and gentlemen ManElephInoBoar is real and is a threat to mankind. I don’t know why I thought of this but I don’t think the cut was from CB’s elbow. I personally think that the Koolaid guy was inside his head trying to burst/“Oh Yeah!!!” his way out. Koolaid man Epic Failed.

HEELLLLLL YEEEEEEHHHHHH!!!

That’s what I screamed at 6am in the morning when I watched that fight. Woke up the wife who thought something happened lol.

I was over the moon when Amir won. Awesome kid, awesome and well rounded skills and heart of a Lion.

CB is a spoilt brat with skills.

When things don’t go his way, he does what all brats do… give up.

What I mean is he broke mentally and that made him gas more since he wasn’t doing much to gas as badly as he did.
Digity wrote:

I don’t think it is self doubt. I think it is humility but he plays it well. He’s very Forrest-esque in that he doesn’t talk himself up which is what a real warrior does. They acknowledge others strengths and remain silent about themselves knowing full well the tides can turn at any time.

This way you enter a fight or battle ready to die and accept your fate rather than having exaggerated hopes and then being shattered when it doesn’t work your way which is what happened to CB I believe.

Anyway, Amir will win the finals… just you wait!

I just kind of sat there thinking to myself as if he is the first fighter to act like that. So, it’s OK to get loaded and basically stage a demolition of a home you don’t even own but it’s not OK to get loaded, break some stuff and talk some shit.

I can promise you many, many more people watched the house incident than would have ever known about the limo/lounge incident.

These are young, aggressive guys. How many of us on here did shit that would make what he did look like a night at the old folks home playing canasta.

I think it is a tremendously mixed message and didn’t make anybody look good.

Also agree with the statement about booze.

These are guys training to compete at the pinnacle and there basically isn’t an episode without them drinking.

I know I don’t drink the last couple weeks before a PL meet. Why should we take these guys seriously when they don’t even respect the organization or opportunity enough to stay sober and put everything they have into their training?

To me, it’s indicative of a person who demands more from themself. It’s part of being a champion.

CB is not mouthy. Mouthy was Josh Koschek telling Chis Leban to go back to loser camp after he beat him. CB is just very confident and for good reason, he’s the real deal.

That CB Tim fight was a good fight. If you don’t believe that. You should try getting out off the show and go back to your life. Then drop whatever you are doing, fly across the country to Vegas, find out you have a second chance to fight your way into the finals, say hell yeah and go right into the most important fight of your career with a couple hours preperation.

Both those guys are warriors for doing that.

The contracts make good business sense. If they didn’t then TUF could end up being a farm/publicity program for another organisation like WEC.

You haven’t spent much time around fighters have you? Some people if you give them enough rope they will hang themselves. Tough fighters tend to be fucking animals. The alcohol in the house is a test. A test which Jesse failed. You don’t get hammered the night before a fight. Just like you don’t shit on your own doorstep, you don’t get hammered and destroy the house you live in.

When Jesse got hammered and went on a rampage in Vegas, he took a shit on Dana Whites doorstep. With the drunken rampage in the house Jesse bared his ass for all to see. With that prior rampage on film there is no way he can deny that he is a lose cannon.

That kid should not come back without a year of sobriety and AA meetings under his belt under a strict probation. Even then though one person is not worth the risk to everyone else in the organisations livelyhood.

There probably is a clause that the fighters have to uphold the professional standards of the UFC and Nevada athletic commission. I am sure that a drunken rampage that involved malicious destruction of property, accosting young women, and threatening security that you are a professional fighter probably violates some rules. Dana White has plenty of video evidence that he would have no problem defending his decision.

I agree with your last sentence, it doesn’t look professional any way about it. But I’ve heard multiple guys from the show interviewed, and they are always basically told that inside the house, they can act crazy and do what they want. It is the UFC’s house and the drama builds ratings. But they are also told very clearly, that outside that piece of property they are ambassadors to the company and they are NOT to fuck around. He broke that rule, and seemed to immediately understand that and accept that what he did was a major fuck up.

Absolutely. Dana White sets the table for them to be assholes. When they do he says it damages the integrity of the UFC and then shows it on the TV so everyone can see.

Then he does it again…

I think it’s dumb that the UFC doesn’t expect its fighters to be ambassadors of the sport while they are living in the house. It comes off as very childish and immature when the fighters completely trash a house that they are living in for free.

Granted, the UFC brings this upon themselves in a way by taking away any form of entertainment, but still, those types of actions shouldn’t be allowed and don’t do anything positive for the sport.
