OK so “JT” put a beating on Tim this week. But what the FUCK is up with that limo thing from next week? Did anyone actually see what happened? Im calling the CB or Jesse are gone.

I don’t know but that looks like some crazy shit! I don’t think it’s any of the finalist, don’t all the guys usually fight on the finale? If that’s the case, I’m putting my money on May or the kid that has different hair every time he is on tv(forgot his name, the young kid that was happy because Tim was going to buy him a Xbox). I’m guessing it’s someone from Rampage’s team, he seemed to be watching the video rather intensely. Either way, whoever it is seriously fucked up. What a waste to get that far only to screw yourself like that.

As for the fight, I was screaming all kinds of shit at my tv when Tim pretty much jumped off Jesse’s back in the second round. What the fuck was that shit? Jesse looked pretty brutal on the ground, but Tim had a lot of opportunities and couldn’t put anything together.

Next week should be pretty good.

Thank you! I was so pissed off during that fight. Granted he’s a nerd, but Tim was my favorite guy on there, and I thought he was pretty good. He had Jesse’s back a couple times and just kinda fell off. What the fuck are you doing??? I guess I just don’t think JT is that good. He’s a big mean monkey, but damn, all he does is lay on guys and punch them. Of course, if you can stay there, I guess that’s all you need to do.

I’ll explain it to you guys so you understand what Tim was trying to do. He was trying to transfer from the back to an arm bar. It is an extremely dumb move because you give up position and he didn’t even come close to having the speed or timing to pull it off. Hence, he just looked like he just fell off towards the arm.

That fight went just how I imagined it would with Jesse dominating. Tim is like a slightly more talented Dante. Way to waste 10 years of your life only learning one skill set. If you are going to do that your skill level better be Penn level BJJ or Anderson Silva-esque striking.

As far as the whole limo thing goes I’m not sure who it is. Initially I assumed it was gonna be CB, Amir, or Jesse. However, I think Dana just said finale and not finals so that could basically be anyone from this season since most fighters should be there. Hopefully, if CB wins it will be him so Amir can fight or if Amir wins it will be Jesse cause his LnP is old. I know he flails around like a retard and calls it GnP but his shots don’t do any damage.

Oh and I can’t believe nobody has mentioned this yet. FORREST FUCKING PWNED RAMPAGE!!! The basketball was pretty funny just like when Ken hustled Tito at pool.

Well, you’re supposed to secure the arm before you give up the position.
Zap Branigan wrote:
Didn’t Jesse get a haircut right before the fight? Why was his hair long during the fight?
More than likely wha ha happen was the haircut scene happened at different time, but the editing crew wanted to throw that scene in this episode since it featured Tim and Jesse.

Exactly. That’s the main difference between the success rate of traditional jujitsu vs BJJ…attaining a dominate position and utilizing it accordingly is stressed over all else in BJJ. I think Tim panicked each time in a hurried attempt to secure a submission hold without properly utilizing his position first. A little GnP would have helped give him time to set it up for sure. Hell, I think instinctively most of us would want to pay back with some strikes for crying out loud before ending the fight too - friend or not…it would be important to me anyway a few days and beers later when BSing about our fight that I had returned some strikes.

It’s a shame, because it’s fairly obvious how weak JT is in the ground game when it comes to submissions and I’m unsure his intelligence level on par with what he will need to learn if he is to be successful in UFC competition. With that said I don’t think he’s as dumb as he leads on…or maybe he is, I don’t know. Either way he will not be able to defeat either CB or Amir which makes for a very anti-climatic finale - aside from the limo drama.

Next week will be good though…I expect the best fight yet.

I will almost guarantee that the limo stuff is anticlimatic for this one reason: when was the last time something involving dana white lived up ot the hype or, conversely, the last time that some little bit of news was not blown out of proportion.

My honest guess is that someone left the house and went out for a night on the town, whihc they’re not allowed to do. What else would involve a limo? a gun/drug/hired hitman deal? I just dont see any of those things happening. occams razor, man.

Pfft, you obviously didn’t see that they’ll be selling UFC action figures at Wal-Mart!

Naturally that’s what happened. Someone already mentioned that Dana White’s “they’re out of the UFC, they’re out of the finale” leads us to believe that it is JT, CB or Amir when actually it will be someone else since everyone fights in the finale - great observation btw, he had me believing the former when I watched it.

To rebut the DW not being involved in anything climatic - he was in attendance at the ping pong match that went to like 10 match points ; p

Peace

I rewatched the episode last night and Dana definetley said “Finale” not “Finals” meaning it could be pretty much anyone. In that case my money is on Riddle, CB, or JT. But in the preview posted on UFC.com, while Dana is talking about the incident, they show video of Amir, CB and Jesse while talking about the “Finale”, kinda giving the impression that it was one of the three, with my money on Jesse or CB. Also, they showed a little more footage of Amir VS CB. ANd I can atleast tell that it goes to the second round and looks like a war, one SOLID takedown by CB with Amir looking for a sub before it hits the floor, and Amir giving CB a BEATING on the feet. Gonna be a good one.

I know that. Course didn’t look like Tim did =(. Seriously he probably could of won that round if he’d just stayed on his back and kept softening him up with light GnP and feel out some attempts to RNC.

I just don’t understand why fighters give up good positions for low success submission attempts like leg locks. When nobody was doing it in the beginning it wasn’t too bad cause you’d catch them off guard. Now everybody knows the defense so its like way to give up mount/back/side control.

Don’t get me wrong I like it when people try to finish but don’t doom yourself in your attempt. You can still be exciting without finishing. Then again I’ve never fought so it is easy for me to criticize. I’d just think that people with lots of experience would show it off in a fight.

Who you guys rooting for in the Rampage v Forrest fight? Personally, I want Forrest to win but I’ll be happy as long as it is amazing fight.

Thanks for the update, I was curious as to the exact wording - definitely a ploy. My guess would be Riddle unfortunately. I say that because I think he has a lot of potential and I would like to see him fight in the finale vs Dante. I think the drama will be trying to figure out who fights the odd man. Do they bring back scurvy staff infection dude or someone else who got beat on day 1? Coming back for just one fight may not be that hard to fill actually, although there would be no contract potential.

Forrest. I love Forrest.

Tim said that when he fought Cramer he jacked up his shoulder pretty bad, which is why he wasn’t utilizing his butterfly guard much during the fight. He wasn’t able to work it in and had to kinda slip it in when JT gave him the chance to.

You know why they did htat, right? Because they want to give the impression that it’s somebody in the final, without directly saying that. jt is the only one in and cb and amir arer the only two with a shot. It really could be anybody. that being said, JT is not such an outside shot, although riddle ahs to be the favorite

Yeah, I got that. I got it so well I watched it about 50 times over on my Tivo, screaming “YEAH!!! TIM HAS HIS BA-WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!?!?!?!?!?!?!”

LOL! Well done sir! JT Money fail.

I don’t know what fight Dana was watching, but I damn near fell asleep watching Tim and CB. What a bunch of bullshit. CB, WORK ON YOUR FUCKING CARDIO. Jesus bananas, you’d think a guy that lost because he basically passed out exhausted with his arm between a guys legs would fix that big giant hole in his game. If the finale goes past the first round, Amir wins hands down.

Can someone tell me exactly what happened? Im in Europe right now and havent seen the episode. I gather that JT fucked something up? Someone fill me in?

CB is dead! Long live Amir! Hoora…oh, shit.

Oh, well. I agree with Analog_kid, CB needs to get in freaking shape, which I hope he fails to do. And I hope Amir works on getting the hell up off the ground, so CB can stop using him to take his naps.

I felt so bad for Jesse, because he knows he threw it all away, but Dana White did the right thing. That boy is not ready for fame.

Go Amir!!

 1. After getting a heinous cut under his eye from an elbow, Amir the Sweet wins, over CB the Mouthy, by armbar - in the 3rd round, I think?
 2. Jesse went partying in Vegas & rode the hubris train. Kicked the windows out of his limo, harassed women in the hotel bar, & went around yelling, “I’m a UFC fighter!”
 3. Dana tells Jesse he’s not ready for fame & kicks him out. Jesse weeps, with good reason.
 4. CB & Tim, as the losers of the semi-finals, battle it out for a chance to fight Amir in the finals. Dana calls the fight exciting. It is not. CB wins by unanimous decision. Tim is a class act, as always.

Did I forget anything, guys?
