I did a set of (putting my knees on bench and pulling up weights 25-35-45 on each hand, saw some guy doing it so i tried.felt good.

You should certainly ingest protein after your workout, even if it is late. As far as carbs, I’d simply limit the amount and types of carbs. But, you should have SOME. I believe that there are quite a few articles and threads about this, just use the “search” function. What time are you done working out and when do you end up hitting the sack?
