Trying to Keep Serious

Looking great, Brick!

Thanks for the compliments people.

Nice forehead. I think need some of that HRT myself.

Let it all out.

Looking very strong. Leaned out, you’ll look amazing, I am sure.

However, please don’t proclaim yourself as a lifetime natty. Not even close. I am on TRT and I have a huge advantage over my natty friends. It’s not even close to calling it even.

How? If I have eugonadal levels of T, and never used AAS in non-medicinal amounts for a recreational or sports purpose, how am I not natty? Serious question.

How do you have an advantage over your eugonadal friends?

Thank you for the big compliments! I appreciate them very much.

Our levels go up and down (more often down than up I guess). HRT keeps them above average all the time. Gets worse with age I guess.

HRT guy > average healthy natural > pre-treatment HRT guys

Who knows (and who cares) how much that really helps though.

Hi Brick ! This is my first time post, through I’ve been following the forum for a while, especially the Palomoism topic which has me glued to the laptop ! You’re lookin’ good dude! Keep it up! Being the ONLY bodybuilder in my gym has it’s drawbacks in so far as a kindred spirit to really relate to.

Because of my build the high school and collage kids do follow me around in the gym and always have dibs on me to spot them. lol! Some call me “Spot” ! I got back into working out 3 years ago after an 18 year layoff…I was caregiver for my father, who later passed, right after that my brother got sick, caregived him,he died, and in 2011 Mom passed after 8 years of Alzheimers,I was at really low ebb for awhile,so I throught i’d get back in the gym.

Muscle memory is REAL ! After 2 years I was offered a job at the gym and I’ve found a passion for it,helping others…guess in a way i’m still caregiving…anyway, sorry I got off track.Like I said, been following your comments and found myself agreeing with you on the various subjects.

By your pictures, I’d say your in your mid 30s? An average guy at that age will test around 550ish, usually in the morning when the levels are the highest. His average daily T is much lower.

This is what happens to your natty friends who you think are not at a disadvantage:

-He gets busy at work → he has to sleep less → his T levels go down.

-He tries to cut fat → his diets down → his T levels go down.

-He loses his job → massive stress → his T levels go down.

-Life in general just fucking happens of any sort → his T levels go down.

Yours? Always averaging 800. Always. Consistently. For years.

Please don’t pretend you’re a natty.

You’re a smart guy, Brick. You know this is true.

Thanks for this. It is very flattering for you to make your first post in this thread and compliment me. I am glad you like my posts.

I suppose the Palumboism thread is very interesting to many, and I am not sure I would have started such a thread today considering two years ago I was not as careful with what I post today. Maybe I would have described the condition but not used the name. I was still a bit an immature wiseass back then (yes, immature in some ways at 33 years old). I still like the thread though, as you can see from more recent posts.

Eighteen years is a lot of time off. It’s great that you picked up something for which you have a passion. I think everyone needs something that makes them feel alive, not just work. And that is a lot of serious, strenuous, and generous stuff you speak of. Caregivers, despite their kind and generous nature, often get burnt out. I try to help out when and if I can–my mom likes being in charge of EVERYTHING–but she is TOASTED from caring for my grandmother, with that being after 30+ years of public-school teaching-just indefinite caregiving

Great!

Like I’ve said over and over: I think I am an average guy with average or SLIGHTLY above average genetics and average smarts who loves this stuff. And if some find what I read to be useful and entertaining, then that’s great!

My genetics rating scale has Woody Allen being a one, and people like Arnold or Flex Wheeler being tens. So by this, I rate myself a six, MAYBE a seven.

Thanks!

I suppose, as someone told me, that TRT users can have more free T on average. I also suppose that my high dose HCG monotherapy (solely for fertility reasons) would maybe provide an advantage because of the significant stimulation of the testes on a regular basis.

I see what you guys are saying, but at the same time I just can’t see myself in the same group as “assisted” people. Perhaps I will not say I am natural and just say I am a TRT patient. However, there’s no way I feel comfortable putting myself in the same group as those who use MULTIPLES of clinical dosages, just no way.

The upper normal range of 800 to 1000 ng/dl provides normal physiological male functioning. This is far different than those who test at 2000 to 5000 ng/dl or who knows.

It’s the same way I am not going to consider a diabetic or hypothyroidal person in the same group as those who use thyroid and insulin for bodybuilding purposes and not medicinal reasons.

If some natural organization doesn’t allow TRT, so be it. I will have to find another.

Thanks for the kind words,Brick. You have encouraged me thru your posts.Should tell you about my username:When I got back in the gym three years ago my body took of again, like I say, muscle memory’s a wonderful thing. One guy in the area, who refuses to see the inside of a gym, apparently started feeling resentful about what I’ve begun, and to others nicknamed me Steron-hybrid of my name and he thinks I…and I don’t.Well,as in any place it got back to me and I’ve turned it around to something fun.I don’t understand why some people will put others down when they can do the same thing…but don’t.Self loathing?

Sorry to go off-topic for a moment but after hearing this I have to share it,the story is true, told by someone who knows the guy:Bodybuilder in neighboring state was dumped by his girlfriend, apparently he lost it,and chose to commit suicide - by ingesting every bottle of pre-workout he had, must have been quite a lot,i’m told. No,he didn’t die,but now he shits blood, won’t go to the doctor cuz he does massive amounts of roids. Sounds like a real winner…

Uh… OK… lol.

That’s the first I have heard of someone having blood in their stool from too much roids. I guess all sorts of things can go wrong.

I believe you man. In fact, a friend of mine knows this previously scrawny dude who suddenly got ripped overnight. What’s even weirder is the fact that he also developed ridiculous agility coupled with the ability to climb walls and shoot some sticky weblike substance from his wrists. We attributed this to massive amounts of trenbolone. But it turns out he was actually bitten by a radioactive spider lol… imagine that! And there I was ready to rob the nearest horse stable to secure my supply of tren so the redhead living next door to him would pay some attention to me as well!
