Trump: The Second Year

You’re a dirty communist?

Ye…Yeah, wow. I’m that obvious?

Anyone that disagrees with the fact that cookies and creme is the bestliest ice cream is obviously a sleeper agent of Motha Russia.

In an effort to help get this back on track per Mufasa’s suggestion, here are the top headlines for this week.

(This last one is a big fucking deal.)

And in case anyone was busy filling out Trump’s Pulitzer application:

@Tyler23:

Despite ALL that is going on; Trump, his supporters and his News Service (FOX) are STILL blaming: “The Deep State”; “The Media”; an orchestrated “Witch Hunt” across many Public and Private entities; and the DEMS.

Never is it Trump and his actions…and probably never will be…

So Oprah 2020 it is.

A very smart move. Seriously. He’s preparing the narrative for his legacy.

I know you’re just posting this in jest. @Basement_Gainz…but if Trump can avoid any legal entanglements and runs in 2020…he will absolutely crush anyone the DEMS put up (at least based on current “contenders”. He already is lobbing grenades at Warren).

What will be interesting is if the GOP will put up some sacrificial lamb to run against him in the Primaries.

This is now the “GTP” (Grand Trump Party)…and he is the Standard Bearer.

I’m not sure I agree. But neither of us is Carnac. I think Biden or Oprah could beat him if the election was today. But neither of us is Carnac.

If you listen to Oprahs last awards speech, it was a campaign speech. I think she wins any Trump debate any day with eloquence and grace.

With Silicon Valley killing fake news and shadow banning even good conservative outlets (prageru), he won’t upset anyone in 2020. He’ll have to fight for every inch.

I’ma keep picking on you when you say this stuff. If the Dems put up a contender this early, only to increase exposure to DerpTrump, I will personally walk door to door in support of Trump, as the Democratic party will truly be lead by the learning impared.

Ah, my Friend @Basement_Gainz…you just can’t help yourself, can you, Brother?

If things are tough for Trump…it’s because of his own doing; not because of FB and Silicon Valley.

He was handed an economy on the upswing…an economy that any of the last 3-4 President’s would give their first born for…yet HE chooses to concentrate his energies on those who disagree with him or slight him in any way…or proving how much better he is than President Obama…

And instead of focusing on getting actual Policy in place; he focuses on Public Grandstanding full of smiles and fake handshakes.

Trump need only look into the mirror for his real problem.

LOL. @pfury!

Ironically; the DEMS are trying to figure out what they are all about and what they stand for…not the GTP.

The GTP; for better or worse; is for all practical purposes the Party of Trump.

Will this last? Only time and history will tell.

I’m not so sure. He worked out an Electoral College victory. While the base will hold, I think there are lot of people who may want to cleanse the presidency that point - and it won’t even be ideological: it will just be exhaustion over the WH being a reality TV show and constantly embroiled in scandal - which won’t end, regardless of what comes out of Mueller’s efforts. The chaos isn’t going to resolve itself before 2020 - that’s just how Trump’s traveling carnival works.

And I think there might be some real desire to turn the page on WH-as-entropy experiment.

Haha you know that from your C suite DNC meetings eh? Guess if the Dems aren’t openly announcing plans so Trump can flirt with the line and fuck around they don’t have anything going on?

People on the right openly disagree with Trump on a daily basis. To reverse double counterwhataboutism you, could the same be said of Obama? Even GW Bush?

The GOP is more fractured now than it’s ever been in my lifetime

@thunderbolt23 and @pfury:

In no way am I disagreeing with the two of your assessments, mainly because 1) I am piss-poor at predicting these things and 2) I am easily swayed by the “spectacle and enthusiasm of the committed”. (e.g. after the GOP Convention that nominated McCain and Palin, I was “positive” of their victory… and Trump’s rallies and his almost “Teflon Don” nature; as his Poll numbers remain steady despite scandal upon scandal and dumb tweet after dumb tweet; make him “seem” to dummys like me almost indestructible).

Add to it these individuals coming out or the ranks of the DEMS “embracing?” some form of Socialism…and I just end up with these visions of Trump tweeting for another Term.

Again…I am damn lousy at predicting these things, for the reasons mentioned.

Oh completely agreed. But we both suspect fake news in some form helped him get elected. And they’re cracking down on it. All I meant.

Well I keep saying it to mean, you keep bringing up “no main Dem leading the party” like it’s a bad thing. It can’t possibly be anything further from a bad thing.

I haven’t personally seen any Dems talking about the govt doing takeovers of industries, so I’d need context for this one.

Guess maybe Ze-----he who shall not be named.

I’m perfectly ok with you disagreeing with me. :grinning:

I always learn a lot more when people tell me why I’m wrong.
