You should figure out how to post. It’s hard enough to follow you and Zecarlo driving away real conversation without you not even knowing how to use the site.
Anyways, I’ma bow out. Intentional degredation of the forum and all that
Their government didn’t have any power to govern over them, ever? You need to be careful because you are heading into racist territory when you suggest that the liberty the Indians knew prior to contact with white men was natural and they had no concept of it or governments to enforce and protect liberty. This wasn’t a case, as you are suggesting of a government derived idea of liberty conquering a natural liberty.
Some interesting discussions, guys…but the thread has gotten so off the original topic, I’ve tried to turn off my notifications. I don’t think that all that has been going on with Trump has even been hinted at for over 3 days. And there has been plenty.
Certainly feel free to continue your discussions; but I would recommend that you start a new thread on things like liberty, natural rights, etc.
If your point is that liberty is a natural law you could have saved a lot of time by just proving it, since the onus would be on you to prove that, rather than me prove the opposite.
My apologies. I do know how to edit and do it frequently. I simply meant to copy a question I wanted to emphasize. I had meant to edit the rest out, but got distracted. Oh well.
Ok, ok. I realize it’s not a rule, but some sort of etiquette that I’m bumping up against. I genuinely mean it, I’m sorry. Honestly, I’l make a concerted effort to wrap up my arguments in a few posts and let it rest, instead, of going back and forth.Especially when it’s a side argument that has spun off of the main one somehow, heh. In fact, I actually kind of feel compelled to respond back though, as a courtesy, I guess. As if it would be rude to suddenly just bow out so soon. But, I see your points. Thank you, guys.
