I was on your side I’m the original debate pat, and argued againsted it for a long time. But I’ve come to believe the deal was - while not NEARLY as effectively bargained as it should have been due to Obama’s bad negotiating - a net positive. At least up until Trump basically took us out.

And I don’t trust Trump’s negotiating. Actually even less (much less) than I trusted Obama’s…which was very close to not at all.

Trump got in because of the presidents who preceded him. They know his character and what he is, something they don’t really get from the other politicians.
