It’s always been a grift and it’s part of the reason Trump will never concede. Separating these people from their money requires them to believe. And so you just keep acting like it’s real.

What are you talking about? “No reasonable person would conclude that the statements were truly statements of fact,” should be pretty easy to understand. As should this, “She believed the allegations then and she believes them now.”
