I’m enjoying the cycle. From the faith put in her by the loonies in her first press conference, to her being kicked out of the party for being too crazy even for the crazies, and now the defense.
What I don’t much enjoy is the fact that the capitol was attacked and people died over something most everyone who said they had evidence of fraud turned around and said either fraud didn’t happen or it was sharing opinions or some other nonsense. These people deserve worse than they will get.
How does this protect her from her defamation lawsuit?
I don’t have much legal training, but I’m pretty sure that part of it(defamation) is a false statement portrayed as being factual.
Edit: But I wasn’t dealing with the defamation suit, but with @H_factor’s, “Only crazy people would think we were serious about what we were saying.” I’m pretty certain that there’s some distance between “we were serious about,” and, “It’s fact.” He then pivoted to, “lol you thought we was serious about fraud,” and the article says she does still believe there was fraud.
She said she had proof.
I would also bet that the legal team she faces is better than her legal team so they wouldn’t be suing her if they didn’t think they could win.

It looks like the “Fox News” defense is being used by just about all of these weasels.

And one last thing; don’t mistake “not being convicted” with being synonymous with “lack of evidence”.
I’m glad you pointed that out, because there’s no chance of anyone being convicted in a civil suit.

We needed the FBI to tell us that mass of morons was not a well organized group with a specific plan for a coup?
You and I may not have, but numerous people on this board(and elsewhere) did. Many on here believed it was a coup intended to make the then-President President with buffalo hat guy serving as his VP.
I think the people involved thought that’s what it was but there was obviously no plan from some mastermind.

Well Trump should sue, just like Joe Rogan should sue. If such people do not hold them accountable, the corporate media will continue misinforming and lying and defaming people. While gestapo/FBI (you call it as you want) will continue to be a political government infrastructure raiding journalist, defaming presidents.
I know one person that will deal with gestapo big time. That is James O’Keefe. Latest rumors are that he was raided, because he had a wistle blower from FBI/gestapo and they have been emailing with their legal team as how legal it is to record FBI/gestapo agents. So I am expecting some bombs soon. The constitution seems to be on his side and protecting him. I doubt gestapo/FBI will kill him.

I vote for democrats here. Our democrats are actually competent. Did not for a president. That position is practically useless here and nobody is representitive enough for it. Our current president is a joke. The dude said Crimea is Russian on the presidential debates and brought us unbeliavable shame and perhaps ending some military and weapon sales contracts. We are the main weapon seller to Ukraine. There are theories that Russian agents have bee blowing up and sabotaging our weapon factories the past years. So when your president is such a joke and there is no one better, I see no point to vote for one.
We need a government. I know local governers with good connections whos hands are tied to do anything, because there is no government. The team I coach for example hopes for a renovated football field and there are projects which can finance it, but the local governer cant do anything without a government. The city governer is an ex class mate, he is doing a pretty decent job. He also complains that all the city plans are frozen due to lack of financing and a government.
