middle -upper class white folks don’t get involved with street politics. They have jobs. They either go into politics themselves , or are focused only on making money thinking that will protect them from any negative changes in politics. They don’t care who is in power as long as they still make money. They just donate money to one or both major parties. They don’t let their hands get dirty.
Enrique Tarrio, chairman of the Proud Boys who was arrested pre the Capital protest. Does he look or sound middle-upper class, or white? I think you will find the Proud Boys are not only white, there are plenty of men of all races, lots of gays too. They also predominantly come from working class/lower middle class. So much for your MSM narrative.
That was the point of the article. The narrative being repeated and is widely believed turned out to be, infact, false. Ill see if i can dig that article up.
Maybe, just maybe what you see is what you get with the Proud Boys, rather than some gaslighting bullshit by MSN.
I’ve seen plenty of Proud boys stuff throughout the last couple of years, vs Antifa and BLM. Plenty of whites for sure, but also lots of Blacks, Polynesians, Asians and Hispanics. The MSN have always portrayed the Proud boys as a racist, white supremacist, movement despite the facts. There has been no change in MSM policy from the beginning . They neverdirectly put out a narrative that the proud boys were anything but white, and middle class.
Yes this funny thing called the internet allows me to look at footage of the events from 9000 miles away. The footage comes from different people at the scene, not just stuff vetted and approved by MSM. It allows me to form my own opinions rather than being drip fed what to think.
Sure, and it was about as successful as one of my high school acquaintances who tried to rob an armored truck with a paintball gun. If I thought Trump actually had a strategy that could work, I would certainly be concerned. Fortunately, he is too lazy to pull anything off like that. Every thing he has tried to do to pull off overturning the election has been laughable by most people outside the base.
Trying to convince them that their current side is in the wrong, and that they shouldn’t blindly follow someone like Trump could have a real impact. It is unlikely, but could actually move the needle. Perhaps you won’t convince the guys at the capital, but you may convince someone just right of center (I know lots of these people).
I understand that it is easy to compare events. It is natural to do so. I am not convinced it is the best method to influence someone who is rational.
Andy Ngo is one of your facorites, huh?
I wouldn’t mind that gig. If it’s anything like being one of his attorneys I’m not just qualified, I’m one of the better ones.
Episode 1: “Don Jr. Eats The Wrong Mushroom.”

Talk about a huge event for him from a purely financial grifter standpoint. The idea of a Trump network and continuous gritting/Republican kingmaker is long gone. And two days ago it would have been full power from a failed one term President.
He’s always going to have lunatics who support him you can say that of any cult leader. But his power in politics was chopped about 90% with the results of yesterday.
Should be removed from office but won’t. The GOP finally has a good excuse to fully cut the cord.
IDK, his popularity hasn’t budged much.

He got 38% approval today or yesterday from morning consult.
Just angry at their parents.
So everything comes back to daddy/mommy issues? Mulling it around… Yeah, sounds about right.
I wouldn’t look too much into one poll. His power will dwindle regardless because the GOP will cut ties all but the most loony.
IMO, this is going to come down to what percent of their support is of the loony type. Is it 2% or 15%, if the latter, they can’t loose them and win.
I don’t really have any desire to go down that path. The entire forum in basically every thread beat up race over and over this summer. I largely stayed out of those and really don’t want to rehash all that again nor make points about them.
I’d prefer to focus on who the thread is about. His response to the two is insane. During the BLM protests he tweeted “when the looting starts the shooting starts.” When the capital is stormed by his crazed lunatics he says “go home we love you you’re very special. I know how you feel.”
The people on here talking about TDS and tweets don’t matter words don’t matter have largely been silent since the election. Their arguments were shit then and demonstrably shit now.
Although some of the missing ones will come back to complain (most likely about spending which they didn’t care during Trump) about Biden in a few months.
I dunno. In a two party system its impact is dramatically lowered. It’s not like the left doesn’t have people who sit out or vote third party because Biden isn’t left enough. Most Trump supporters if they vote in 2024 are going to vote Republican. Even more if a black woman is President because something happened to Joe.
Also important to point out they couldn’t win with them. Lost the popular vote twice: They lost in 2020. Record turnout (I still give credit to coronavirus and the multitude of early voting options) but record turnout for the opposition.
Now if a third party springs up that’s a whole other story. But most of Trump’s fans if they vote in 2022 and 2024 will vote GOP. That’s forever away politically. They don’t have to love the GOP if they despise the Dems. Both parties been doing just fine with the “we don’t like them but the other side is worse” strategy anyways.
The GOP can siphon off Biden supporters without Trump. Or they can have turnout go down because they have a candidate who isn’t as spectacularly flawed as him. I’m not too concerned. The GOP helped convince these people Obama was a socialist Muslim born in Kenya. Then convinced them that someone running on outlandish promises like Mexico will build the wall, everyone will have healthcare for cheaper, the national debt doesn’t matter since we print money was absolutely the guy to go with.
A helluva lot more than 15% of trump voters think the election was rigged and stolen by democrats despite zero evidence. Would that qualify as loony? That is not a fringe conspiracy theory amongst the GOP… Which begs the question, do we have to now move the goalpost for what is considered loony? Or is a very significant chunk of the GOP conspiracy loons?
There is more evidence for the 9/11 conspiracy than there is for this election conspiracy.
Bingo.
I have friends who go to events, march and protest. They’ve given up asking me to go because I always tell them how stupid protesting is. It literally accomplishes nothing and can be easily manipulated or spun. Votes or bullets are what makes change. Either get working to earn more votes or well, violently rebel. Yesterday was a bunch of idiots walking around Congress with no intent or rational plan. They ultimately made themselves and “their cause” look bad. But to say they tried to violently overthrow our republic is retarded.
Is it just me or are those policeman in the corner like 5’0" or shorter?
