Trt vs. Boron for 39 year old male

39 year old male here with chronically low free test (2 pg/mL) and total testosterone at 303 ng/dL. Former competitive lifter, never used any performance enhancing agents. Concerned about my blood work. I have been feeling low energy, depressed. Doc recommended 6-10 mg Boron daily however considering TRT. What are your thoughts?

Lowering SHBG absent external T will not provide more free Test. Only option is TRT.

Hello Denlion, I’m a 64 year old male, very soon to be 65. Last year when I had my testosterone checked it was 538 ng/dl. I’ve never taken steroids, nor TRT. You mentioned Boron, which I consider an absolute must, and have taken it for nearly 2 years. That being said, I also believe in supplementing with magnesium, zinc, D3-K, C, niacin/B Complex, DHEA, Fenugreek, pine bark, Shilajit, good quality fats, such as, ghee, tallow, avocado, and virgin coconut oil. Also eating red meat. This allows for natural testosterone boost. I’m not a doctor, but this has worked for me. Once you start TRT, from my understanding, it has to be continued. I will provide a link for you to research boron usage. I believe strongly in it’s benefits. https://www.earthclinic.com/remedies/the-borax-conspiracy-walter-last.html
