TRT Facts - Beyond Bro-Science

Dont ask

The other forum?

Yep you are a clever guy but also by a friend of mine bodybuilder

Then there must be a lot of dead people in my FB group. I must also be dead. Yup, makes perfect sense.

Bodybuilders created the bro science to begin with. Remember that. You can also ask him why John Meadows never used an AI, nor does he with any of his clients, nor does Greg Doucette or with any of his clients.

Graig is an awesome dude I try to follow his dieting advice
But as I understood in his protocol he has changed part of his test with primo to reduce aromatization

Excel male is better than many forums (although I haven’t been there or anywhere else in a while) but they have so many people giving out info that don’t have a clue what they are talking about. At least here (for newcomers) it becomes apparent fairly quickly whether or not the person giving advice has a clue. That’s what I like about this place. The “no nonsense” approach to idiots.

Some of the guys from ExMale have made it over to my group. Seems that Nelson keeps a very tight leash on certain things. Jordan got kicked for posting a study in hematocrit lol

They’re better than reddit but still not totally on board the no AI train

Happy birthday. What would the argument be for not posting a study on hematocrit? I don’t understand.

Probably that higher HCT doesn’t mean imminent death, stroke, etc. which goes against some of the old beliefs that you need to donate blood regularly.

Reddit for TRT topics is a dumpster fire of stupidity.

Neither does he. Kicked with no explanation.

Thanks for the birthday wishes.

It is definetely not a bad place but there are a lot of guys fixated on numbers, using AI to manage e2 and saying there is no point in daily injections.
I was told numerous times there that 1400 total t is supraphysiological.
Also do you know about the FDAs new free t calculator?
It is showing higher free t levels and they claim you need to lower your dose because of that

Same goes for reddit in regards to anabolics… I’m dumbfounded by some of the incredibly irresponsible behavior I see on there

I recall reading one guy who blasted grams of gear non stop, used tons of reccy drugs, had for the past 20 years supposedly… said “I’m fine health wise”… something like that was abruptly, without warning, his last post (suddenly stopped posting after that)… I assume in all likelihood he died of a massive heart attack

Excel Male = Defy shill forum.

Take a look for yourselves. Jason Sypholt of Defy is the Administrator, Dr Saya is a mod, etc.

There is rarely a thread without Defy being mentioned a few times.

Last week when Dr Lichten was mentioned re nandrolone and inflammation, very quickly the Defy admin woke up and rushed to their defence. That they do indeed prescribe nandrolone. Oh, so they are now fully on board? Defy is a fully fledged T mill now with a popularist approach.

I don’t understand, you’re saying he was attacked for his opinion regarding nandrolone and inflammation. Animal models (so not a particularly strong body of evidence) suggest nandrolone can avoid significant fatty infiltration occurring in response to rotator cuff tears, lessen recovery time stemming from musculoskeletal injury.

The notion of nandrolone amoreliating joint pain stems primarily from anecdote, however the amount of anecdotal evidence to boot is simply too substantial to dismiss. Personally, for me nandrolone helps tremendously, and makes me feel very good to boot, granted I’m also on a minute amount of drostanolone so that could explain things… though I didn’t notice libido impairment last time (with just NPP at 70-100mg weekly). However the level of systematic toxicity induced by the drug slightly/somewhat surpasses testosterone, so that needs to be accounted for before someone decides to casually use it. Prescribing it to the uneducated masses is somewhat reckless, and will probably lead to a few lawsuits being pressed against them down the line

100-120mg deca with 100mg test far surpasses the anabolic effect of 220mg test alone… not relevant, but a statement that stands true

The question is how is physiological defined?

The tallest men was 2.72 meters in height. But does that mean that everything up to this height is physiological?

It’s the same for T. We know that in the 1980s 97.5% of men had T levels below 1000 ng/dL, while maybe only 0.1 to 0.5% of men had natural T levels of 1400 and higher.

But still at that time it was within the range, right?
So if you wanna be at the top of the range, that is not supra

2000-3000 is already supra

Also there are a lot of TRT studies with levels 1400-1600, of course we totally ignore the free t here

I interviewed Dr Lichten in November in case anyone missed it:

No.

No, there weren’t/aren’t.
