started CW triple total training. on day 5 the book has 8 sets 3 reps. shouldn’t that be 3 sets 8 reps?

I’m doing day 5 tommorow it is 8 sets of 3 reps

ALSO, just fin. day 3 2x24’s with 55 % 1 rm. is it possible to do 24 reps ? i couldn’t, on most did in the 15-19 range. should i lower the weight? or just do as many as i can.

One day is too light. One day is too heavy. Hopefully, one of the days will be “juuuust right”.
Of course it’s possible to get 24 reps. Maybe the 1 rep max you used to calculate the weight was your max max max, not your everyday max. Either that or you just gassed out. Towards the end of the set, don’t be afraid to take a few breaths between reps. You can do it Goldilocks.
