tribex for women?

Hi everyone,
I read on this site somewhere about Steve McGreogor’s Tribex study on elite cyclists and was wondering if Tribex would work for an elite female cyclist as well. Let me give you a bit of background: Im 36yo, have been racing mountain bikes for 4-5 year now and just turned pro this year. After a great early season, my results began to fall off and to make a long story short, now I just suck (I am easily 10-20% off my former perfomance)! My coach and I tried the usual overtraining routine: 1 week totally off, followed by a very slow buildup in intensity, to no avail. I had a blood test done to check for potential hypothyroidism and low hematocrit, etc but everything came back normal. After reading the article, I also wonder if I may have a low testosterone level. My sex drive for the past year? has been almost non-existant and I have had some bouts of depression lately but I have written this off as due to lots of training and little good results. My question is: if I do indeed have low levels of test, would Tribex (maybe at a lower dose than for men) help me? Thanks.

Tribex doesn’t increase T levels in women. There have been a few in-depth posts on this topic explaining why in the past. You might be able to find them with the search engine.

As a side note, I've had great results putting female athletes, endurance athletes included, on Methoxy-7. You should give it a try. It will accelerate your recovery tremendously.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info, Bryan. What dosage would you recommend. I am 5’10, 140#, 10-12%BF. Thanks.

My wife uses two serving a day, as per label directions. Loves it.

Just curious, whats you diet like? Total calories, and macro nutrient breakdown. You may need to do some tweaking there.

Two servings may be more than enough, although you may want to experiment with 3 servings per day as I’ve got even better results at this dosage. However, I’m likely much heavier than you.
