It’s changed over the years. You could always do your first dose in the morning on an empty stomach, before breakfast, and the second dose with food. Either way, it won’t make a big deal. I’ve tried both dosing methods and have had good results.
As P-Dog said, Bill Roberts did suggest there would be a better absorbtion with food, but Cy Wilson has also said that a lot of the ingredients in Hot Rox would be best taken on an empty stomach.
now this is purely speculation and has no scientific background. but im guessing that with a supp like hot rox or other fat burners if you take them on an empty stomach you will get a better and faster thermic effect. anyone that has used an eca knows that when taken on an empty stomach it hits harder and faster.
with something like tribex you arent looking for a rapid increse in testosterone, you are looking for more of a sustained effect therefore taking with food would lead to better absorption.
My morning, pre workout, dose is on an empty stomach while my 2nd dose is with food. It would be difficult to get the 2nd dose on a truly empty stomach if you’re consuming multiple small meals throughout the day.
I would say that an empty stomach would be important with something like Power Drive since we don’t want the tyrosine competing with other amino acids. So, while I don’t claim to have any deep understanding of the compounds in Tribex I’d still have to agree (IMHO) with Rob and P-Dog that for all practical purposes it probably wont make much difference.
