Was not really impressed by his size considering the weight that was claimed. Also training looked goofy with the machine squats. Slow eccentrics nothing new there.
My expectations were higher for his size and strength. Made it easier to be disspointed

Yeah that wasn’t directed at you.
Obviously its nothing new, but I hadn’t thought about doing them for a while, served as an interesting reminder.
In all fairness, most footage doesn’t show anything that’s completely novel, because nearly everyone that has ever gotten huge has used variations of the basics, so i’m not really sure what people were expecting.

Yeah, for a man supposedly 400 pounds. That’s a bit different than an absolute statement such as “his legs were small”.
Speaking of planets, I’d like to know what world you come from or operate in, one in which everything every man around you has to watch their p’s and q’s and make sure their statements are so pleasing to your ears or eyes?
I am not interested in your P’s and I am sure your Q’s are equally unattractive.
I am just noticing a common act with you and many others lately…making jokes about people who took this activity to extreme levels.
I am sure that is cute to you.
But then, you also thought your P’s and Q’s were hawt.
Are you high?
Are you fucking high man?
Seriously, stop inhaling the laughy gas you dentists use, its like you’re not even discussing the same thing as everyone else in this thread

Exactly. I dont recall a post where anyone said anything that could be perceived as more negative than this.
Perma-bulkers gotta look out for eachother i guess?

If you want pain just follow some JM leg training. Slow eccentrics drop sets partial reps all in one set. Fuck it hurts so good
I no nothing is brand new but considering this guys supposed insane size and strength I was expecting some crazy weights and a massive dude. I saw neither

The endorphin rush i get is so intense after doing JM style leg extension and hamstring curl drop sets back-to-back is so intense i dont know whether i want to cry or jizz my pants.

Yeah JM’s stuff is awesome. But I think too many round here believe that his stuff is the only way to go, plenty of ways to skin a cat and no one should follow blindly and disregard other techniques.
Not saying you are one of these people, I know you basically just do your own thing training wise.

That depends, i think a lot of the people who really like JM’s style of training are people who have been at this game for several years or longer and probably know by now what generally works best for them.
If you’ve been training 5 years and then start throwing in JM’s techniques and seeing good results (as is the case with me) there’s something to be said for that.

That would be the problem with hitting youtube and using ONE video taken at some random point in time and using that as the way someone trained and looked their entire life.
I could believe he was 400lbs. If you look at Jay in his off-season pic with him, Jay was more than likely over 300lbs (since he was stage weight shredded in the 250’s I believe, somewhere around there). This guy looks to be a good 4-5" taller than Jay. That’s a lot of added bone mass, spread muscle mass, and other mass. He’s also not particularly lean in any of his pictures.
I 100% believe he could have been 400lbs. That isn’t as unbelievable on a man over 6’ that’s huge as it is on a man under 6’ that’s huge.
Also, never knew who played the first bane, that’s pretty cool - especially since he wore a beret and camo shirt as a wrestler!

Flys with 150lb db lol, awesome man! And the pic with Jay he dwarfs him.
Koing
He was taller than Jay. Trevor never exposed himself shirtless.
He never dwarfed Ronnie either. He was taller than him.

Try a cycle of Trevor’s “Beyond Failure Training” utilizing his training principles (the Zero Momentum reps are brutal if you really want to feel a burn) and then tell me that JM’s stuff is more intense. Don’t get me wrong, I love JM’s stuff and it is intense, but Trevor’s stuff has Super slow eccentrics, paused reps, drop sets, and forced reps (at each drop) all in one set. And you do multiple sets of isolation stuff before moving on to Compound (machine for safety sake) movements for the same muscle done in the same fashion for multiple sets.
Probably a bit on the overkill side of things and I don’t know if any naturals can sustain progress on his program (I know I burned out fairly quickly), but if we are just talking pure raw intensity and pain while training, Trevor’s stuff is bar none the most brutal BB’ing training program I’ve ever tried. The pumps you get afterwards are otherworldly as well.
