Haha it’s all good! I’m really excited about it, been working posing quite a bit, it’s tough haha. By the way, I had a free hour this afternoon before practice and read through most of your contest thread, I’m very motivated to try to get that TimMcbride conditioning! [/quote]
Don’t stop there, you can definitely get more shredded than me.

You are too kind, I was quite pleased with my upper body and my glutes, but my quads and calves were lacking.
Damn, those are some solid macros for being so lean.
You get a lot of respect for doing prep during baseball season, that’s got to be tough man. Keep it up Trent!

Thanks Kev, that means a lot! Planning is the main thing, just having to make sure I don’t get stranded for 6 hours or more without a meal if practice or a meeting comes up, because then I end up ravenous and can’t get full that night. My energy is also starting to drop a bit during practice, but nothing too tough yet. Nobody forced me to prep during baseball, so not going to complain ![]()

Got a good training and posing session in this morning with Jacob Trout, my friend and coach with The Strength Guys. I was feeling a little worn down and he was dragging after spending 30 hours in the car this weekend driving to and back from Columbus for the Arnold, so we hit a “bro” chest and should workout. A good time was had by all, lol

I’ll post a few shots from posing today to let you guys see where I’m at. I’m planning on working with Jacob on posing 2 or 3 times a week; I know I’ve got a lot of work to do there. Looking at the pictures, I just need more size overall and am looking forward to a nice long improvement season. But for now, just gonna enjoy the ride and get as shredded as I can :). I’d love to hear any feedback you guys might have on my posing! Also, the lighting in the room we practice posing in isn’t the greatest, so I used a filter on a few of these pictures.

Front double bi

Front lat spread

Side chest. I think this might be my best pose

Rear lat spread. My foot positioning on these feels a little awkward, trying to bring out the hammies and glutes

Abs and thigh

hands on hips mm
10 week out update: I hit a new low today of 179.4 lbs. my strength continues to increase, and energy is really good still. Brian was pleased with my progress and said he thinks I’ll be ready for physique classes at about 175-176, then he’ll start adding food back in. That’s just fine with me!
Back relaxed. By the way, are these photos showing up as very out of proportion? This is the first time I’ve posted photos from my phone

Shoot, sorry about the sideways pictures guys, I’ll post em again

Hey man, good work. Do you mind sharing your macros and what a sample day of eating w/ timing of meals looks like? I like your IIFYM with emphasis on lots of good food approach!
