That is an impressive post contest meal. 14 inches of deep dish pizza is NO JOKE…and then you added dessert!
And took it down like a champ -lol

Congrats…

Do you have pre and post prep measurements, or was it all mirror?

How did you feel after eating that?

I have cut in the past and then gone for the “cheat” meal to finish and always end up feeling like crap. My digestion also seems to take a hit.

Started prep at 193, my morning weight on my final depletion day was 168. Hoping to push the conditioning a little further for my June 14 show

Did someone use filters on those shots? Looks like it as the colours are all off. Or is it a combo of the lights and the tan?

Awesome job on the placings, competing and stepping up to the plate.

Thanks Koing :). I think it’s just the tan and lighting, no filters as far as I know. The photos are from the official show photographer, he’s actually one of Brian’s other clients so he snapped quite a few of me!

Excellent showing! Welcome to bodybuilding!

Save the shorts for the beach.

Posing trunks on stage and on the beach.

Looked great man, I think your scores and placings were appropriate… You have a similar build to mine in that our legs are good but our back and arms need work (It seems to be tough for me, nearly impossible almost, to add much more size to my arms)
Thanks Lonnie. Yeah I’m excited to see what I can do this offseason, planning to really crush it! Getting this lean and truly seeing what I’ve actually got in terms of muscle/a physique is pretty motivating. It’s something I think all serious lifters should do at least once in their training careers, even if they don’t get on stage

Not too bad! I honestly wasn’t uncomfortable when I finished eating, I had just reached the point where I was content and continuing to eat would just be for the sake of eating, not because I was hungry. I was pretty impressed with my appetite, put down over 1,000 carbs on Friday before the show and at least that many during the day on Saturday between rice cakes, pb cups (My kill count was over 30 on the day), Cheerios, sweet potatoes, and poptarts during the show. Brian also bought me a burger and baked potato at Famous Dave’s between pre-judging and the night show to fill me back out after being on stage in 3 classes.

Thanks Myosin, I had an absolute blast and will certainly be sticking with bb’ing from here on out. It was so much more fun actually competing and hitting poses on stage instead of just standing there trying to look good haha

Lol I don’t know about that, but on stage for sure!

Great job! Really proud of you man! Looks like you found your home in bodybuilding. I only hope to follow in your footsteps on my road to bodybuilding, myself.

Thanks Yodaddy! You’re gonna love competing in bb’ing after physique…it’s such a different mindset and so much more competitive on stage, feeling like you’re “battling” with the guys next to you instead of just standing there trying to look good haha. If I did pretty well you’re gonna kill it, your physique is way ahead of mine! Just work that posing, you’ve got time

Glad I came in for a stop to check out your log. Very impressive! Your legs especially. Good job and good luck going forward!!

You look awfully good on the front shots. Congrats on the placings!

Thanks Dan, you’re looking shredded in the new avi, great work

Hey guys, wanted to give an update. I’m deep into my peak week week for my second bb’ing contest, the Natural Mr. Nebraska. I’ll be competing on Saturday in the collegiate and open classes, and I’ll keep you guys updated! Have a couple good buddies competing also (I prepped one of them), so should be a fun weekend
