Tren/Test Cycle and Crossfit

okay The first question is for anyone familiar with crossfit workouts. Im wanting to do a Tren/Test cycle but I havent ever taken a cycle while doing a cardio intense crossfit style regiment. Any ideas on this? Anyone have any exp. with this cycle while doing a crossfit,P90x, insanity style regiment? 2nd question, I have been told that I should use Arimidex with this cycle, if Arimidex only treats gyno and is not meant to be used as a PCT then is there something else that will work as a pct and protect from gyno both? Thanks!!

If your biggest physical challenge is no higher than crossfit, why the hell do you think you need steroids?

This. The no.1 problem I see with this cycle beyond the fact that you clearly don’t know anything about AIs and SERMs (and probably test/tren/AS in general) is that you think crossfit is a legitimate program, whatever your goals may be.

You have such a poor knowledge base that you shouldn’t even consider a cycle.

Also, why the fuck would you need steroids for crossfit? And why would you choose tren? Doesn’t crossfit rely a lot on endurance?

lol really? You obviously have never been to a crossfit gym or seen a crossfit workout but this is exactly what I figured I would get from this forum… No answer and a bunch BS comments lol obviously if people knew everything about cycles etc then they wouldnt need this forum but these answers seem to be the trend for this site.

This is me trying to be as nice as possible:

I trained in a crossfit gym for 6 months because they had good equipment. I’ve seen lots of crossfit workouts. I’ve even done a few for shits and giggles. A test prop cycle might be useful if you were already elite, but honestly you would be better served by using a GHRP-GHRH combo (or just straight hGH) to positively impact body composition and help you heal from the inevitable injuries.

This is the answer you deserve:

Are you fucking serious?

You a) clearly didn’t read the sticky about SERMs and AIs, b) clearly didn’t read up on tren or you would know what a stupid idea it is to run tren while training crossfit or P90X, and c) came back and acted like a prick when you didn’t get answers to your stupid questions spoon-fed to you.

Fuck off.

That’s because we try to maintain a forum of knowledgeable posters who can give AND take information and contribute to meaningful discussions for the benefit of all involved. This is accomplished by not spoon feeding ignorant newbs who do nothing but leach off of the knowledge base. There are plenty of other forums that will let you be an ignorant parasite on their board. If you knew you would get this answer here, why the fuck did you even bother posting?

Crossfit is hard from a cardiovascular standpoint. I have done it before and seen the competitions. The guys that do crossfit that I would consider ā€œstrongā€ or ā€œhyptertrophiedā€ are few and very very far between. It is not hard to be lean when you are 175 pounds and think a bodyweight bench press is the pinnacle of strength.

AAS will not improve your cardiovascular system, which is what you need for the random bullshit programming that Crossfit entails.

to me you can do whatever workout regimen you want but most body change is dictated by diet… what are you trying to accomplish with this workout regimen?

i mean if you eat enough even on that crossfit BS WO plan you will still put on size…

It is bad idea.

Just want to chime in on this ancient and bumped thread, because it’s apparent none of y’all have tried Crossfit.

Not here to argue. But in 4 months doing only Crossfit, I’ve become stronger than I’ve ever been in my 10 years of body building type training. Squats (back) are up to 425 which is my highest ever, Bench press is around 350# which equals my best ever, deadlift is at 585 one rep max…and I’m faster, leaner, and more athletic than ever. Can now do hand stands, gymnastic ring work, 25+ pull ups straight etc.

Don’t knock what you don’t fully understand. We do heavy strength training as well as high intensity endurance work. We squat (back and front), deadlift, bench press, etc. Also, Olympic lifting is not for the weak. I bet none of the faithful slab pounders here can snatch 250+ lb or clean and jerk 300# without getting injured. Unless of course you train olympic lifting as part of your regimen.

Much respect to anyone that works to have a better body. But anyone that knocks Crossfit just hasn’t tried it, or has different specific goals that it’s not suitable for. It’s insanely hard. Look at Crossfit games athletes. They are not little dudes (or chicks).

Stage athletes (body builders) won’t get max benefit from it. And certain sports require specific types of training more frequently. However, Crossfit will make you much more well rounded (strong, fast, agile, balance, endurance, flexible, etc) than about any other program on earth.

Just sayin.

That said HELL NO don’t use Tren for Crossfit. You trying to have a heart attack?

First of all, the OP of this ancient thread used ā€˜crossfit-style’ and ā€˜P90X’ in the same breath. In other words, he wasn’t talking about what you’re talking about. Nobody on these boards is gonna say that Rich Froning is anything less than a super badass. I think the OP was talking about using tren so he can do burpees in his living room.

It’s widely accepted that crossfit athletes, particularly higher level ones, are likely more interested in strength gains than bodybuilders are. So the fact that you’re the strongest you’ve ever been makes sense if you’ve historically trained using bodybuilding templates.

As an aside… I’ve been to quite a few crossfit boxes (probably about 20), and I’ve seen less than 5 athletes capable of a 250 snatch and 300 clean AND jerk. I’ve seen a decent number of guys hit a 300 clean without the jerk though. Those numbers are pretty rare within the crossfit community. I would guess that 90%+ crossfit boxes don’t have a single athlete capable of putting up those numbers.

I don’t know anything about Tren. Just crossfit.

I guess I got lucky with my box choice. We have at least 5 guys that can to those lifts I mentioned. EDIT** drop the snatch number to 225 and we have at least 5. We do have 3 for sure that can do both the above numbers though. I’m not one of them. Yet. I’m still learning proper technique.

I’d agree that those numbers are rare, and that high level boxes are rare as well. But the sport itself and the higher level training within, are very amazing programs.

I wasn’t trying to start any fires, just defending my sport.

why has this shitey thread resurfaced?

Tren will lol your cardio output.

Staaahp guys let it die

Bumping JUST to be an asshole… lol

I’ve just recently started CrossFit after bodybuilding/powerlifting for 20 or so years.

… and let me tell you… it KICKS your ASS. Seriously tough sport. It’s evolved a TON in 5 years.

I wouldn’t use Tren though… I’d go with low dose test… 250mg/350mg a week… you could even throw in 600mg/800mg of EQ in there, and a couple of SARMS, and you’re set!

Bumping old threads makes me sad because I see names of guys who dont post here anymore  :frowning:
