the trap bar hits more vasto medialis and rectus anterior than squats (both smith than free weights squats),
ass,femolaris and semi tendinoso are worked by a less degree from trappabar than squats.
very imo,it sounds strange that trap bar is very popular in performances/size training (american football etc etc) and not so used in bbing…

hmmm, you are right but if you read EMG on the attachment it results that trapbar is a different kind of animal from deads and squat because it hammers quads more than squat and femoralis (hammies) less than a squat and a lot less than a deadlift…

are you pushing your feet against the ground instead of just elevating you upper-body?
I ask this because first times I used trapbar I had same problem (low back activation,no legs involved) ,now my lower back is less stressed by trapbar (legs are doing all the work) than box-squat…
