Trap Bar Squat: Y'Know, Not the Trap Bar Deadlift?

There’s like only maybe one actual deadlift there.

:joy:

3 with the rest pause!

@flipcollar it’s been a solid way to get all my supplemental work done in 3 minutes.

That’s a pretty good idea. I used to do SLDL from my toes but that’s a bitch as the start position is always difficult to get into and you always have the risk of crushing your foot. Nice lift overall.

We’re supposed to be able to see technique there? I’m going to sound like my grandad but it’s too dark, I can’t see a thing.

It looks like Matt Damon got stuck in a coal mine. At midnight.

Here’s how his second post could have looked:

“Hey @T3hPwnisher, there’s some really good ideas for building my legs there, I’ll definitely give them all a try, not disregard one and ignore the others outright because they weren’t my idea”

Beautiful.

That was pretty disgusting. Good job

How much different are the high handles to the low handles? The one at the gym doesn’t have them and I’ve only used the trap bar twice in my life and it’s felt weird every time. Is it similar to a block pull or do you feel like it’s a lot different?

I need to try this. Have you considered trying it conventional to see if god exists or not?

Low handle ROM is significantly longer. I use 405 for work sets of 10 with low handles, and though it’s not to failure on the first set, it’s not fun. High handle is much more comfortable.

I find blocks is a different enough to high handles to consider them close but different variations. I wouldn’t program them in the same block.

I too noted the mood lighting, but saw it as more of a feature like dining in a fine restaurant
