I am just finishing up the BBB three month challenge. Its worked well. I’ve gained ten pounds and gotten stronger. Next month I plan to start SST. Should I add 5/10 to my tm next month as I would if I had been following a more strength orientated template, or should I retest my maxes because the BBB doesn’t necessarily add as much strength as the other templates?

What horrible forum did you read this? I’d like to hear the “handle” of the fool who told you this. Was it “4SkinChewer”? How about “60daysOfMenses”?
It was my understanding that bbb was more focused on hypertrophy than some of your other templates. For example, you generally say that 5/3/1 will make a person stronger. In your bbb 3 month article, you state that “it will at least maintain your strength levels.” It seemed that continuing the 5/10 lbs progression after bbb, therefore, might lead to having to reset very soon, at least sooner if a person had been following a different template. I take it from your answer that you either find this too be untrue or aren’t concerned about it. That I should just wait until I have to reset to test my maxes again. Thank you for your response.
If you have taken “by the book”- approach (which you should), you should have two cycles left before resetting the weights. This means one six week cycle. Are you uncertain of handling the weights you’re using right now? Probably not, am I right?
Just do one 6 week strength based cycle and then reset. My humble opinion.
