Training with Stitches in Finger

hi all, i recently cut my middle finger open, and got a couple of stitches in it. i’d like opinions on if you guys think it’s worth training, or if i should just take a week off, till i get the stitches out. sorry for the lack of capitalization, my keyboard’s broken. anyway, any opinions are appreciated.

If you can’t masturbate with it, why lift weights with it?

i was thinking of just trying to avoid it touching the bar, which in retrospect probably isn’t too smart. you make a good point.

Truer words have never been said. If you can’t jerk off, then you certainly can’t handle lifting.

Although you could probably still train legs, but why try to work around an injury, right?

i’ve been doing meltdown 2, so alot of it involves having to throw the bar around, but i suppose i could screw around with machines or something for a bit.

I repeat:

The weights will be there tomorrow. The machines will be there tomorrow. Heal up, do bodyweight squats, and masturbate with your good hand. Jesus. Why do you like training so much? Its overrated.

alright, alright i see your point. i just get bored not training, since i’m on summer vacation and not of my friends are around. although, i think i can predict your solution to said boredom.

In all seriousness, if gripping things are an issue, then train around it with machines until you can grip things again. If you love training, then don’t let something hold you back if your capable otherwise.

thanks, i think i’ll hit the gym and see how it goes, grip-wise. but not for a couple of days, because i’d rather not open the cut up again. in the meantime, i guess i could look for things that don’t involve my hand.

Check the Bodybuilding forum, someone started a thread recently about training without hands. I think there was a link to a workout from another site there as well.

thanks, i really appreciate it, i’ll check it out.
