Hey gang. I’m about to start my second GS phase II in conjunction with Mag-10, and just to switch things up I want to replace all the drop sets in the original GS program with negatives. My question is, is there sort of a standard conversion rate in terms of work incurred with each of these intensity methods? In other words, three drop sets of 5-5-5 each equals approximately X sets of Y negatives at Z tempo? This may seem a really obtuse question, but I’ve little experience incorporating negatives into routines (especially when anabolics are in the mix) and I don’t want to over- or under-do it. Nor, with only a two-week window of opportunity, do I really have to experiment and figure it out for myself. Any with experience using intensity techniques while “on” or familiarity with relevant literature please chime in! Thanks, Zev
