Getting ready for a bodybuilding show and getting into ROTC shape will not be an optimal combination. From where you’re at, I’m guessing 3ish weeks of real focus on PT will get you into top PT test shape.

it’s a bit different for me since I’m going to a senior military college. I have an indoctrination week called FROG week where they just kick my ass for 5 days. That’s about it. Up until then, I’m free to do whatever I want, but I have to report to school at a certain date.
I just did a USPF meet. They are really strict on squat, bench was reasonable, and deadlift is pretty simple. Make sure you pick openers you can crush.

Ed’s got it covered for me. He’s been a judge quite a few times and he competed almost exclusively in the USPF (besides the IPF) and knows the ins and outs.

USPF is easy. The pauses were a tad long though.
Are you referring to Robert S. (nicknamed: Rob or Rico). He’s like 5"8, puerto rican kid, probably 20, Ed Coan did a lot of training with him, Havent heard from him in a while, wonder if he still goes there.

Thanks, man, I appreciate it. I was thinking about gaining some more weight back, too. I’m hoping to get back up to around 195 and maybe close to 198 as possible. That should help, as well.
In my experience, the best thing you can do with girls like that is just shut them out of your life completely. Sometimes going as far as pretending they don’t even exist. Granted, you may have reasons for remaining at least cordial like if she’s friends with people you know but even then, it tends to be that birds of a feather flock together. Quite frankly, I bet she does know and she probably doesn’t care. Sorry if that sounds a bit fatalistic.
And great work! Your hitting numbers at 17, 18? that only very recently have I been getting. Your bench is quite a bit higher lol.

Thanks, man. It’s just frustrating because I’m awful with girls already; I’m really quite and reserved. She made it easy for me to come out of my shell. We’ll find out if she cares or not sooner or later. Hopefully the former.
But anyways, my bench is kinda stuck right now. It sucks how I put 40 lbs. on in 12 weeks when I first started training, and now I haven’t put a pound on since. And yes, I’m 17 for a little while longer. I’d like to hit 315 before I turn 18.

Looking to top out at 200 lbs. and still be able to run a couple of miles without dying. I’ll probably end up having to lose a few pounds in college, but I can gain them back no problem and get used to the increased cardio and whatnot. It will take a while, but I could do it.
