NOTES: This is my new 3RM. So happy with this. Each set was a smoke show. Sat down and came right up with them. The last rep of each set was s bit of a struggle, but Ed said that they were solid. Still having a bit of trouble staying tight at the bottom, but it’s 1000x better than it was before. Awesome day of squatting.
Deadlifts

[i]NOTES: After my first set with 370 (used a 50 lb. deadlift bar), Ed was talking to me from about 5-6 feet away and he said that he could see my eyes cross lol. I was so out of it after that set. I was dizzy and wanted to sit down.

Ed: I saw your eyes cross. That was pretty cool.

Another thing: Ed was saying that I don’t use my hips from the start. He told me to force my knees out a bit to activate my hips. If I do that, then the bar should just fly right off the floor.[/i]

I went with pinkies on the ring the first set then ring fingers on the rings the second set for shits and giggles. Whatev, I ain’t even mad.

SOmetimes they think they have to do this or that to keep you liking them. Or deep down they really have no idea what they want/like. They want what they can’t have, and then if they get it, they don’t want it anymore.
Makes everything way more complicated than it needs to be really. Just find a sane one.
And one that can apprecaite your lifting etc.

Got a rest day tomorrow to be lazy and then got bench on Monday.
