Thinking about getting some real physique shots next week. Possibly going to go to a bodybuilding gym about a half hour away from where I live with a posing room and everything. Gettin’ aesthetic as fawk, brah.

Go for it!, I think its good to keep a happy median. Hit the big three hard, but theres no reason not to curl, do flys, and lat pulls, ect.

It’s something that I’ve been thinking about for a while, now. Maybe after my powerlifitng meet. If I were to compete, I would want to wait till about this time next year.

It’s definitely an experience, one that I have been urging all my buddies to try. You learn a lot about your own limitations, both mental and physical, and it can be a real test to your deterimination to succeed and discipline to stick through it.
But man, when you are on a brightly lit stage 99% in your birthday suit having hundreds of people cheering you on… what a fucken good feeling.

Yeah, man, I couldn’t imagine what it would be like. I’m going to be seeing my cousin a week from today. He’s a nationally ranked NPC guy and would probably be the best place for advice. I have a solid base to start out with. I’m about 5’7" and 190 lbs. at around 11% bodyfat, maybe more. I just need to shape myself mostly and learn how to diet.
I think the biggest draw for me would be getting up on the stage. It looks like a fun-ass time to me.

We often want things that lead us to misery.
There are really only 2 ways for that to go. One, you successfully detach yourself emotionally from her and get something ultimately completely empty and shallow devoid of real joy or value. Or, you risk the struggle and hurt of attachment to someone like that.
Either way, you will probably hurt someone else. Neither of those options is winning in my book.
