Training Reps Range

Does this mean I will be in the gym for hours?

Does this mean I will be in the gym for hours?

yes, as it means 8 x 3 hours, per week

Oh man, you are KILLING here!

just pick a main exercise,
do low rep,
pick another 1-2 exercises,
pick an isolation exercise to assist the main exercise or to strengthen a weak link,
progress through the span of 6-12 weeks, reassess.

Well, if you do 6 excersises with an, lets say, 8x3 program, rest is 60 sec. … it seems to me that you are in the gym for a long time,
why i ask this, is because somebody explained to me your training should be around 1 hour

I am just new to this, alright? i am sure there is something you dont understand and shit takes time to understand. Where those people learning u impatient with u?

With all the programs out there, its just fucking confusing. 5/3/1, 5x5, Muscle Revolution and then all the stuff on this site…

  • since its pretty easy in this sport to get an injury which I can not use, I like to get my information and knowledge straight before I start do a very heavy program

ok.
first, fix the other thread you broke with your stupid comment. It’s a pain to look at it.
Delete or edit this shit.

so listen- you don’t need six exercises.
If you’re doing lots of other stuff, you could even work with two.

Focus on big exercises with good and fast form. Press, Chinup, Squat, deadlift (good form is very important here!) Rows, etc.
One exercise with very heavy weight can suffice, as you cannot maintain good training quality if you deadlift, squat, benchpress etc all in the same workout. (well, some can get away from this, but do yourself a favour and don’t do it as a beginner)
Note: That doesn’t mean you other exercises should be easy.

Stick to a protocol like 3x10 or 10x 3 here. Doesn’t matter that much since you’re a beginner (right?) Just stick to it for at least 6 weeks while progressing with weight.
Typically, you do the main exercises with lower reps and supplement work with higher reps.
While you CAN isolate with low reps, I wouldn’t recommend it.
Most people concentrate on very specific muscles and try to establish mind muscle connection as well as a nice blood rush. All these things are easier with medium (sometimes even low) weight and medium (sometimes high) reps.

Now train.

This is not the site for you.

Shut up and go away.

haha internet tough guy

I would like to be in the gym for hours, but others say its bad to do so and the best results can be found in an 1 hour training

but since you show how idiotic and stupid your brains work, i probably cant have a decent discussion with you.

you are the reason there is a stereotype on people that train hard

Dumb fuck

You may want to do some background reading before calling people internet tough guys. A lot of people here have real fight records, real powerlifting meet records, or real bodybuilding wins. And they’ve posted the video of them.

Regardless, you now know our advice. Asking for a third, fourth, or fifth opinion, simply because our advice is not what you want to do or think you should do, is going to draw annoyance, insults, and eventually the use of the “ignore” button from every knowledgeable person here.

There are plenty of commercial fitness programs that will let you be skinny fat and think you’re in shape. You sound like a prime candidate for them. I recommend Yoga Booty Ballet: Beachbody

In case it wasn’t clear, I’m done with you.

Oh man, no please, dont be done with me! Oh i need your advice so badly!!! you suck up

stupid me…
