Training Personal Records Part 4

This past week:
Beltless Oly Squat 315x5
Front Squat 245x5
Deadlift 405x5

315 for 12 on Fronts. The knee wraps are wrapped pretty loose more for compression than anything.

Great pull. Where did you get that shirt?

345 Squat vid coming soon

225x3 Bench lolll

Hit 415x5 deadlift today. Let the 10-pound PR’s keep on coming!

205kg squat +10kg comp pb

237.5kg deadlift +5kg comp pb

145kg bench +12.5kg comp pb
88.3kg

Well ahead of my middle training block before my last meet. I don’t think I went heavier than 505 for a double then, and this wasn’t very hard. I’d give it an RPE of 8. Looking for 600+ in May.

- YouTube 185 kg/~405 lbs. for 2 very unusually ugly reps. I want to pull 200 kg/440 lbs. before or on my 18th birthday in may.

405 for 4 Front Squat

405 for 13 Back Squat

495 for 5 at 210 body weight but. might as well be 500 lol 4 of those plates are heavier than 45lbs. This is after working up to 405 for 4 on Front Squat, 405 for 13 on Back Squats and then 455 for a few just to feel.

My god, Reed! Your squat’s gone up tremendously in a really short time! Awesome job, mate!

425lb+50lb chains PR @ 185lb. With or without chains, it’s a 25lb squat PR! And it was significantly easier than my previous squat PR. An RPE of a 9-10 I’d say. Maybe there was a grinding double, or if not more weight could’ve been added regardless.

And as always, I’m always happy to receive form critiques!

So, it’s a rep PR, but it’s a rep PR that I’ve been wanting for a while:

Bench press: 100 kg x 10 (@ 86 kg this morning)

NFL combine-style… I’m now reaching the numbers of some of the stronger kickers and some of the weaker free safeties.

Also – great squat, Fletch!

Thanks!

That was beautiful. Your back didn’t change position from the first rep to the third. Awesome.

New Squat 1RM [and 5RM] (old 405; new 425)

RAW Squat 425x1, 355x5 - YouTube

New Deadlift 1RM (old: 435; new 455 followed by 475 after)

New deadlift max of 585, hoping I can pull 600 at my next meet in March.

425x5 Deadlift. Feels good to be hitting a weight that was a difficult single 8 weeks ago for 5 reps with more left in me.

Hit 190 kg for an easy single on the deadlift, doing 200+ (440+) at my meet in may, just after my 18th birthday.
