First time ever touching 405, man that is a good feeling to finally get that out of the way. Surprised myself with how fast the single came up and decided to take a second rep. Misgrooved it but still managed to lock it out.
Just coming back from hip surgery so everything I do is a PR, but here’s a 500lbs deadlift from a deficit, something I have never tried before. My goal is to make a run at 1500 @ 148.

Got a 190kg squat before my 18th birthday. Pretty happy cause i remember the days when i actually thought a BW squat was impressive. I have a long way to be good though sigh…

Front squatted 275lbs x 7 for a 1 rep PR. Not too bad for not having touched front squats in 6 months.
570 deadlift pull… 40# pr
26 weeks post hip surgery. Pulled 455 x 5 from a deficit. 6 weeks out from comp, body weight is 155. Moving to the floor next week for the first time since the surgery.
Pulled 495lbs x 4 from a 3" deficit the day after Halloween with literally zero sleep. Huge PR. Clearly everything we know about the relationship between partying and lifting is wrong.
