dude what the fuck is that thing where your leg should be?[/quote]
ACK.
Fucking awesome. Looks like some symbiotic organism, if you ask me. Damn. You got tiny knees, though. ![]()
All around, guys (and gals): great legs! I’d like to see some T-Vixen squatting action pics. Who’s gonna be first?
Now I’m pretty stoked to get my legs up to speed/mass.
Just started direct leg training and this thread puts things into perspective for me: always thought I had rather big legs, but they’re being put to shame by what I’m seeing here.
Gotta work on that (and the calves, too).
Concerning how I go about leg training: I like to keep my reps / set medium to high. For one, due to a lower back injury. Besides, I’m still in a phase where I need to (re)learn certain exercises, especially the back squat and deadlift variations. Hence the aformentioned rep range.
Since my posterior chain ROM sucks ass, I need to take care to hit the hams and glutes harder than the quads. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to deadlift with proper form.
Front squats feel uncomfortable for my shoulders and wrists (injuries), so all I have at my disposal for quads are leg extensions, a few leg pressing machines and a hack machine. Fortunately, there are more exercises I can do for my hams and glutes - and I love 'em. Makes my lower back happier, too.
