Regionals for HS 5A wrestling. If I place fourth for higher, I get to go to state.

Yessir! I started with Steve Scott about 3 years ago, took some time off, and started back up at DLT Welcome Mat just over a year ago.

Not In east coast but I am aware that is where Mr. Koepher sets up US sambo headquarters.
Considering competing in a small Judo tournament at the end of the month, but not sure since the following week I am taking a cisco certification test.
so we will see. If I do compete it will be the last time I can compete in my current division
yup…I’m out for NAGA…currently have a nasty case of the crud and nursing a sprained ankle from a training injury. GOOOO MEEEEE!!!
completely bummed out about it, but since I live in TX and ammy combat sports is growing, there are tons of grappling, kick boxing, and mma events scheduled every month this year. I want to stay healthy enough for 1 grappling tourney, 1 kickboxing match, and 1 mma match this year at least.

Well, I ended up suffering a cervical sprain during training, so I missed the 3/20 tourney. The 4/10 tourney’s date was changed to 4/3 and I was still out of comission for that. However, there is another comp coming up on 4/24 that I’m going to fight in assuming my neck’s good to go.
The injury bummed me out because the 4/3 tourney ended up being the state Freestyle championships. My Judo’s been better than ever and I think I would have done well. Oh well… I’ll get through this next tourney then focus on winning some national titles.
Training for a possible MMA fight coming up on may 22nd, depends on how training goes the coming weeks.
Hope to get a little bit more rounded in my stand up.
Have been training for golden gloves in Ontario this weekend, hopefully going to take the SHW novice division.
Amateur MMA first fight on april 4th, doing it just for fun. I’m training for like 2 weeks really serious. Before that i was just doing mostly wrestling/jiu jitsu at least 2 times a week and lifting a lot

Won the ontario golden gloves in the 200lb+ division giving up almost 100 lbs to my opponent, the towel was thrown in about 30 seconds into the 2nd round.
