Long days, trying to get the $$ together for Nationals = later lifting than I like… started about 7:30

and I am completely exhausted…

Events with a full house
Doug and Kenny came down from Santa Rosa so we had 6 people doing events. Felt good to have a bigger group!

Started off with car deads

warmed up with bb deads

Car= Toyota Solara with “trunk full of shit” I think all my training partners can attest this was heavy!

handles far out 4 reps

handles in a bunch I think 12 or 13? couple wouldn’t have counted in contest I just started ripping it off the floor and did 7 in under 10 seconds. I’ll pace myself better next time and get 15

my quads got so damn sore from this and my ass!

Did a little work with the log. stopped early than Doug hit an awesome 225x3 strict press for a pr so I had to try :slight_smile:

225x4 PR! my 1rm is 230 haha Nice when you can get that little push. Every rep felt like a max

350 Hussafel, mainly working on my pick. I struggled big last time but now I just rip it off the ground.

300 20" stone to 53

3 reps in 60 seconds

2 reps

WAY to cautious I’ve finally figured out the lap on the bigger stones, since this was a HUGE pr not that long ago i gave it to much respect. I will attack it next week! I got 6 in me

First deadlifts in months results in pr
I have been a bit scared to pull off the floor since it was feeling awful. I decided to work on what I think helps for stones, car deads, log press etc instead. Ive been front squatting for almost a month and its gotten boring. This was more of a confidence boost for me. I can do anything!

Nats first Got to deadlift that car for 15+ reps :slight_smile: I’m feeling good about how I will place in the 200s and I will sure to mix some points up in the 231 LW overall in a few events as well!

Got home slept for 3 hours woke up drank my Maxforce wandered into the garage for the last heavy upper body day before Nationals.

193x7 PR by lots got a little carried away!
213x3 Was going for 5 but after 7 that wasn’t going to happen. Still felt strong though!

BO rear delt raises

oh yea i needed to do Incline press too

275x1 30lb pr and ties my best flat bench pretty sure my bench is over 300 finally it flew off the chest!

Last Events day feel perfect!
Feeling perfect how you should 13 days out. Ran into the ground!

Log clean and press

up to 250 for a few at maybe 75% intensity lol still hit a good number my shoulders were not recovered from the big pressing PR’s Thursday!

Atlas stones

played around with the 300

shoveled a whole truck bed full of gravel into my truck who’s bright idea was this after training? It was free and my country ass could use it! haha
