wanted this for a long time! dunked it and rounded forward slightly but easily my easiest front squat pr ever

Thanks man it didn’t feel to bad, I did start to get rounded forward a bit on 405 i thought about going for 425 but might as well leave well enough alone.

Front squats seem to be something people are either good at or not. I’ve just always been good at them

Woke up ate some cinnamon toast crunch. protein shake and a banana. Threw my lucky event day shirt in the gym bag made sure to get a little early so I could get a proper warm up. Lets go!

add a 400lb OBx4 reps made it WAY heavier as the weight was all towards the front

335stone x MISS to 54. Up until about a month ago I had never been able to lap a 20" stone so I was happy with this!

335stonex1 to low box. Was so worn out this was HARD my ass was damn near on the floor on the lap. Seriously the big stones look silly when I try to load them how small I am… Big mans game…

this is what I am talking about with the bigger stones! haha Happy I get to play with them finally

Felt wrecked from Saturday and been super busy took couple days off but back it hard tonight! Home Stretch now! Feeling STRONG

Thing is front squats have always made a lot of my other lifts shoot up so Im expecting big things!

just missed 245 strict press! Guess 15lb pr is a little greedy… did some reps with 265 afterwards (push jerk)

worked up to 750 on the yoke (contest weight)

than dropped it down to 600 and went about 150’ hell!

They’re posting it all over the internets, dude.

Strong work on the front squats. I’ve noticed a very similar correlation between improving that lift and having my press, etc suddenly shoot up as a result.

Thanks, yeah i noticed between heavy yoke, deads, car deads, stones, etc when I back squat its to much. I have shit event days when I back squat. Fronts help my deadlift, press, stones, core strength for crap like yoke. YUP lift works for me

That’s hilarious. At the contest I did, one of the guys had to reset the yoke after each attempt. He’s my height (6’2) and about 420. Picked up 650 and 750 and was all like, “meh!”. Big bastards. Hahaha
