EVENTS:
Loading Medley (75 Sec)
LW: 190# keg, 225# keg, 225# sandbag, 250# sandbag (all carried 40 feet)
HW: 225#keg, 275# keg, 250# sandbag, 275# sandbag (all carried 40 feet)
*Only grip aid allowed is chalk. No building up of the belt. Implements can be carried in
any order. No sliding of the implements is allowed. Fastest time or furthest distance wins.
Overhead Press Medley (75 Sec)
LW: 190# Keg, 220# 2â?? Axle, 230# 12â?? Log, 130# Monster DB for reps
HW: 225# Keg, 245# 2.5â?? Axle, 260# 12â?? Log, 160# Monster DB for reps
*Only grip aid allowed is chalk. Athlete can press implements in any order. All 4 implements
must be pressed before extra reps on the DB count. Most reps in 75 seconds wins the event.
Car Deadlift (60 Sec)
LW: Side Handle Car Deadlift 625-650lbs
HW: Side Handle Car Deadlift 725-750lbs
*Only grip aid allowed is chalk. Straps and single ply power suit allowed. A lift and down
command will be given for each rep.
Farmers Walk Medley (60 Sec)
LW: 275# Farmers, 300# IFSA replica farmers, 675# Frame carry (40 feet each)
HW: 300# Farmers, 330#IFSA replica farmers, 775# Frame carry (40 feet each)
*Only grip aid allowed is chalk. Multiple drops allowed.
Atlas Stones (4 Stones, 48â?? Bar, 60 Sec, Arnold Style)
LW and HW athletes can choose 2 stones to lift. Weight beats reps. 4 stone weights to choose from will
be 330, 350, 375, 405
*Each athlete can attempt a max of 2 stones. Stones will be brought out in order from lightest to heaviest.
One rep on a heavier stone beats any number of reps on a lighter stone.

that comp looks insane! I was reading through the lightweight numbers (lol) and I was thinking “Oh thats not that bad. I could do that probably” and then I got to the car deadlift and thought “Well shit, I couldnt even do 1. That would be embarrassing.” lol… and then that same thought went for everything after that.

Yeah one of my goals is to do a comp out of country someday. That would be awesome

haha yeah its a good overall test with medleys and some pure heavy shit mixed in. The stone will be my biggest problem.


What are you supposed to do on your last heavy workout before a big comp?

Get a 20lb press thats what

The Drive up was hell… 18 hours. With both my training partners being 6’6+ though I couldn’t do any of the driving haha

Resting up, eating, gonna watch Conan than go check out Brian Shaw train for Worlds coming up in 3 weeks. Can’t wait to lift!

Thanks man it was a blast, went pretty good, every LW that showed up was a straight beast! I performed at or better than I have in training so can’t complain it just wasn’t good enough.

I’ll have a write up/video up tonight or tomorrow


car deadlift 680 in hand… got 5 reps 7 but didn’t wait for down call on two. dumb mistake, felt like my head was going to explode from the pressure every rep
