10 seconds faster then last week. I think i got an easy 10+ seconds I can still shave off this. Hell my drop of the sandbag on the 2nd time cost me 10 seconds. It still sucked but I wasnt AS dead as last week
Overhead medley

Still struggling a little with the keg but much much better. Not locking out the stuff is quick as I’d like to. Finished the first 3 in around 30 seconds. db kept slipped on my back as I was sweating a ton.
Simulated car DL
Raised it up about 3" added a plate each side and did them from a stop ROUGH my whole posterior chain was already so fried after rep 5 my ass and hamstrings just refused to fire.
farmers lets not talk about it… My grip has felt weak for the first time in a long time.
Watched my training partners do a crazy battle of stone for height with the 335 tossing it around like its a toy.

Yeah strongman event days are tough, There is some of the best LW’s showing up for this show so I need to train my ass off not to embarrass myself.
I got some sort of Allergy or some crap. I feel like absolute crap really effected the amount I wanted to eat today at the BBQ. Think this will be a forced deload week
Upper body Flu
This is why I never plan deloads. Life forces them on you. I trained hard 5 days striaght, got a pr including some what I consider milestone ones. I planned to take the weekend off and capitalize on the free food at 4th BBQ’s.
Well Sunday I started to get a scratchy throat. I had little appetite Monday and felt like garbage I tried to mask it with vodka but I don’t think that exactly worked. Monday night I felt like trash, not even ice cream helped.
SO i lost 5 lbs had to walk around in 90* + heat all day for work. So much fun, Still got to train when you feel like shit sometimes!

195x2 strict pressed my bodyweight for 2. pretty cool Of course I lost 5lbs in the last few days but my strength feels down a good 10-15% I like to throw percentages in like that so it makes me seem smart(er)
Only able to train 3x a week now due to work Tuesday lower/Thursday Upper/Saturday Events. Gonna have to hit it twice as hard those days now. Might actually be for the best
Nice pullin’ dude! What kind of belt do you wear for your heavy stuff? I’m looking to get into strongman stuff soon and I’m trying to figure out what’s legal and what’s not.

Thanks, its just some belt I bought off EFS when I started, I would get a single prong if I did it over again.
Pretty much anything is legal if you have any questions about strongman or getting into it let me know
Ink the rack is a body solid i got it used at play it again sports for about 200 bucks and did my first ever squats in it! I worked up to 95x10 and couldn’t walk for a week! haha
Went up to Doug’s to train at The field. As he had a car deadlift, a frame and heavier stones which we dont have. Also Doug is one of the best people you could ever meet. He Showed up with pancakes his wife cooked, enough said right there.
Started off with the overhead medley
my left bicep/forearm is real screwed up and is really effecting my press oh well
did singles with 200 keg, 223 axle and 240 log…
Car deadlift
800+lb tire handles far back butt almost touching the tire. handles 13" off the ground
got 10 reps with 15 seconds to go, i didn’t go 100% but i was gassing
beat my training partners again haha got to have 1 lift I can do that on.
did some farmers picks with 300lb (each hand) that are about a 14" pick
picked a 650 frame with 18" pick
walked about 5’ with 300farmers which is a pr
walked about 15’ with the awful cylinders with 280
