They are cool I never tried them before as the bottom of the lift is my weak point, but needed to switch things up considering Thursday I did 480x5 Sunday I did 500 with thin iron plates which made it a lot harder and did the 320 farmers pick attempt.
About 2 1/2 years ago I damn near cut it off in a lifting accident Had to get about 30 stitches and it cut the tendon sheathes but not the tendons. It is fine now but my right thumg is less then 1/2 as strong as my left which has really limited my grip in the past.
I need a stone trainer!!!

Ink, yeah seeing you and DF do them has had me itching to try them. My weakness is off the floor but lifting 6 plates from the ground still felt cool.

I generally workout fasted, and do what I think is my best training on carb-loads (3k - 5k calories the night before), but that’s just me. I’m also not tossing logs and picking up anything huge and impressive. lol!

I feel compelled to chime in on the neck discussion since bodies are my business. Necks are wonderful because they allow us to look around, but SO MANY things can go wrong with them. The mobility of the upper cervical spine is a blessing as well as a curse IMO.
And yes, big traps are preferred to smaller.

I’m the opposite I am horrible to be around if I go 4 hours without eating I need my eats.
By deload I just mean switching the movement up a bit. It is still heavy and Ain’t easy by any means.
Veggie, haha all this talk about necks I don’t know if I said the joke right. Just joking about how when you got a thick neck and upper neck people refer to you as having “no neck” so having a neck I consider negative. Just trying to get my neck back over 18"
Wish you could help me with a spinal decompression from across the coast I am sure that is something I need badly. I crack my own back on my foam roller every day haha

My neck is probably the smallest its ever been at close to 17" its not bad having no neck-
mine is super delicate and brokenated.
