Trained (Helped by) a Monster Tonight

biggest guy in my gym worked w/ me on shoulders tonight. 6’0" 274lbs off season but still under 10%BF, he said he goes on stage at 254lbs lean as hell.

we talked about victor this year, kai, and how soon until the weider corp. gives Phil the Olympia, not that he won’t earn it but it is a bit of politics/lobbying truly.

machine work (lateral raises) to fatten out the medial deltoids vs traditional lateral raises. i did both and finished w/ machine for a couple sets to burn it out. i liked the machine.

there is no real point here, i was just excited to chat w/ such a big dude, he’s been training for five years, he started at 225lbs.
oh, the point…as much as he shared w/ me he was asking me questions about my ideologies for training we spoke about Charles Glass and he mentioned Phil heath’s trainer, does anyone know is name, i can’t remember?

Anyway, it was a good night for me, first day back in nearly two weeks, i had the flu.

Cheers-

I love training with more experienced people. I feel like my workouts are inevitably efficient. Plus, you can show the workout you did to all of your buddies. They’ll think you’re the shit. I love the sholder press free motion machine. My plan is to ONLY use that as opposed to dumbells until I can stack it. Anyone else use this machine?

I don’t know how good of a plan that might be.

my reference was a machine for side laterals not presses.

Good luck with the surgery.

Thats cool man, I’ve found that the biggest guys in my gym are the most encouraging once you show that your commited and not a smart ass.
I also love the lateral machine, wish our gym had one.

Same kind of thing happened to me. I usually run to the gym which lucky for me is in the same strip mall where I have my store. This guy who plays for the Lions was in there, I spotted for him and he invited me to workout with him. I was like a little kid in awe!
