Train More Frequently...

Skirt steak, nochos quasadillas! BAM!!! We got the whole food network on this thread! Anybody else got a good recipe???

Take some ground beef, ball it up, flatten it out, grill it until it has a hot pink center, throw it on a bun with your favorite cheese and your choice of vegetables and condiments. America wouldn’t be the same without the cheeseburger.

I cant believe this forum is still going on. This guy is an idiot

Why don’t you people come to your senses? You have been calling me an idiot for quite some time, and yet, there are certain obvious things in training that you guys can’t grasp… Let me illustrate…

Who are the strongest and most powerful athletes in the world? Olympic weightlifters

Which countries dominated olympic weightlifting? It used to be America. The York barbell gym was a breeding ground of elite olympic weightlifters… During the 1950’s and 1960’s, the Soviet Union started kicking America’s ass… Which were dominated by the Bulgarians during the 1970’s and 1980’s. During that time, the most successful countries in the sport were the Soviet Union, Bulgarians, at almost all (if not all???) the eastern european counties.

What do they do? They all train at a ridiculous amount of frequency… (and no, it’s not just the bulgarians)

How did they survive the ridiculous workload? Incremential increases in frequency. YOU CANNOT SEND A 12 YEAR OLD IN A TRAINING CAMP THAT HAS YOU LIFTING MAX WEIGHTS 3 TIMES A DAY!!! DUUUHHHH!!!

How else did they survive? Drugs, and having phenomenal genetics… lol. Yeah right. I can see how biomechanical advantages can make a huge difference in lifting performance. I can also see how steroids can get you buff… Who the hell cares? Being able to recruit up to 90% of your motor units requires training, sleeping, AND NOTHING ELSE!!! Neuromuscular coordination is the most trainable physical attribute ever.

Why not train with a high frequency? Why? Are you afraid. Strap your cock on and start squatting atleast 3 days a week… atleast…
And dont forget the weightlifting power number one these days=China
They lift ridiculous amount of tons of iron each day.

Ya know this mornin I tried the steel cut oats with rotien powder and pb and choc. milk, the damn oats never broke up enough to where I could swallow them! I am going back to rolled oats. And a good salmon recipe is you marinate salmon in buttermilk overnight, then the next day rinse them, and dry in a paper towel, rub pork rub on them, and brush on olive oil while grilling…AMAZING!!!

WHAT?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but you must state its your opinion!

You’re an idiot. It’s not an opinion, it’s a fact. No 181 pound powerlifter can squat 700+ pounds raw, ATG, high bar.

Ahhhh, man, it feels good to insult people. No wonder you guys do it alot to me!

B-Man, I really apologize for calling you an idiot. You’re a very knowledgeable man. It’s just so happens that you are talking with one of the most ingenius human being to ever log in to a strength training forum…
look at that ya fucking arse bandit,it may not be up to your ATG standards but it beats the shite outta what you have stated as fact.

My mustache is givin’ b!#(h’s @$$ rashes

congratulations on discovering nothing novel.

Competitive Olympic weightlifting clubs lift 6 days a week. I’ve squatted 6 days a week for the past three weeks. You’ve merely discovered a practice that has been used for decades.

However, applying Olympic Weightlifting Training Principles to other strength sports makes no sense. Every sport needs a different set of tools to excel in. The more you actually O-Lift, the more you realize muscular strength is trivial relative to movement speed. This cannot be said for Powerlifting/Strongman/etc.

They say the color blue makes you stronger.

I thought pink made you crazy?

Why do you always have to over think things and make thread upon thread about stupid bullshit? Your at a level where you should be sticking to the basics. I didn’t have to read that in an article…it’s common sense.

Umber is for stamina. Only milers and marathoners should wear umber.

My skin is umber, and I used to be a good long distance runner. Coincidence? I think not!

i prefer onion rings when i go to burger king but you can’t beat the dollar menu at McD’s.

Do you get lettuce on the burger at McD or do you have to ask for it?

This is, in my humble opinion, (I seriously need to drop the arrogance. The last thing I wanna happen to me is get banned from this brilliant website. Don’t be shocked if I actually stop trolling. It’s not the end of the world) is a mentality that will keep you from becoming a strength training genius.

Are you happy being a strong athlete and nothing else? Don’t you aspire to someday become the next Yuri Verkhoshansky? I do. And there’s no way in heaven or hell I will ever achieve the knowledge of the weightlifting gods if i stop asking questions. Even though there have been tons of books written about the subject, there are still some questions that have yet to be answered, and it’s the T-Nation member’s job to help me find the answers to these questions…

For you people to just attack me and treat me as if I’m some crazy dude is completely unethical. Why don’t you just join me instead of looking at me like I’m some sort of an internet enemy number 1? Who knows what answers we can find? It can be a great journey…

As I said before, our brain is a wonderful thing. We can’t just let it go to waste…

I squat only 5 days a week and everybody thinks I’m a nutjob. lol.
