Didn’t you say you were still having issues at 12? And turns out cardiologists do not work weekends lol. Their hours just say that on google. I have only 60mg propranolol left that needs to tide me until Friday when I see the cardiologist… not sure if I’ve said this yet but I HATE TRAVELING
There are companies like push health. You can input your info, symptoms, requested medication, and then a doctor will review. They submit your prescription straight to the pharmacy and usually within a few hours. You will pay like $60 for the service but it is great if you need something quick. I had them fill a cialis prescription for me last Saturday night. So check out push health if you need something soon.
I was having issues at 18mg. Reduced to 15 yesterday and 14 today. Going to hold that for a few weeks assuming all is good. If anxiety comes back then I will reduce to 12 and possibly 10.
That’s good to know, I can keep it simple and tell them I get propranolol for anxiety, thank you for the advice! Just did 14mg after skipping yesterday… beta blockers should be out of my system so hopefully this goes well. I’m starting to have a negative anticipatory reaction to my shots unfortunately. Yesterday I did not have heart rate issues but I did have a strange heartburn feeling all day. Blood pressure was 131/67 so not bad
Yeah, you dont have to get super detailed. Just say you cant see your GP for 3 weeks and are leaving on a trip. They only do one script with no refills. You dont even have to already be on the medication. The only thing they wont prescribe are controlled substances.
Hope the new dose works out for you. So far so good for me
I’ve been doing some more reading and I found a case study here : https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3261473/
About someone who had an allergy to benzyl benzoate used in the injections. Supposedly this 16 year old had been on longer esters that did not use the preservative for a while. Then he was switched over to one that used it and on his 3rd shot (likely the third week, like us) he developed most of the same symptoms-swelling in throat, chest tightness, sweating, itchiness. I have most of these besides hives, so I’m wondering if this may have something to do with it? Once the kid in the study was switched to gel he had no more problems (I’m reading that sustanon also does not use this preservative). Hopefully my doc is open to this discussion next time I can get a hold of him
Go figure, my heart rate has been high all day again, took some antihistamine and it has gone down and the feelings of anxiety have disappeared. I’m going to inject a small amount of bacteriostatic water tomorrow (contains benzyl alcohol, the only other variable) and see if I have the same reaction. If not, it has to be the benzyl benzoate. The only testosterone I ever used without that included in it was during my cycle back in the day (I looked at the old empty vial) and that was coincidentally the only time I did not have this reaction injecting testosterone. It looks like delatestryl is an enanthate some pharmacies carry that does not use the benzoate.
To clarify, I’ve tried enanthate in gso, cypionate in both cottonseed and gso separately and had this same bad reaction. All three of these contain benzyl benzoate and benzyl alcohol as additives. The enanthate I used for my old cycle did not list benzyl benzoate or benzyl alcohol in it. I had no bad reactions at all to this one. So if I inject benzyl alcohol and nothing happens the only variable left is the benzyl benzoate. Hopefully my urologist doesn’t think I’m crazy after I explain all of this. Here’s hoping
You would think if this were an allergic reaction, it would show up sooner and not go away so quick either. It takes 2 weeks for it to start affecting you but one day off and seemingly goes away. Not discounting your symptoms at all, just seems like more might be at play than a reaction the benzyl benzoate
Hmm that’s interesting actually, wish I would have thought of that. Makes me wonder now lol.
Although I got my relief from taking .25mg of arimidex which took my heart rate and sweating down although not enough for me to warrant continuing testosterone. I took that pill at work because my heart rate was over 130 and I was pale faced with sweat pouring off me, my chest was actually sore to the touch and was short of breath as well
Didnt notice any crazy swelling in my throat or hives though so I dunno.
I do have a prescription for gel but we all know the gel sucks and to avoid it. Wish I could get my hands on the cream lol
I would think so to but I’m definitely going to look into it. In the study it states it didn’t happen until the kids third injection which would correlate with three weeks in, supposedly the more you expose yourself to something you are hypersensitive to the more you react to it. I also found another video somewhere where a pro bodybuilder speaks about his steroid dealers’ benzyl benzoate allergy causing him issues with all sorts of different gear. So there are at least a few cases of it.
Also, looking up the symptoms of anaphylaxis shows me chest tightness, increased pulse with weaker beats (I cannot feel my heart beat as well, I think I mentioned this in an earlier post), tightness in throat, anxiety, sweating, headache, feelings of impending doom, hives. Your body releases epinephrine in response to strong allergens which would explain the rapid pulse. It can even cause a fib in some cases. Out of that list the only thing I’m missing is hives.
And skipping a day greatly reduced the symptoms, however they came back today just as badly after I lowered my dose to 14mg. This seems to tell me it correlates more with the time that the oil goes into my body than with the time that the test peaks.
This could all be anxiety talking but it makes sense to me so I’m going to check it out tomorrow
@tgk143 were you using injections at the time or the gel? If injections did they contain BB?
I was taking injections Test cypionate and yeah it did contain it i just looked lol.
Interesting. I will let you know if getting rid of that component causes any changes for me. Unfortunately due to my work schedule I will not be able to pick up any new script (if I can get the doc to even get me one) until two weeks from now which is FANTASTIC. Bottoming out on test feels so great. If even one doctor was available on weekends I would throw my money at them
I might add, I see several people here that have said that anastrozole helped reduce these symptoms for them. I’m probably just grasping for straws here but some data says that higher estrogen levels make you more susceptible to allergens
Yeah im not sure, it all sounds a bit hard to believe but you could be on to something and I guess there is only one way to find out, let me know how it works out for you.
As much as i dont want to i might give that gel a try and see if i get the same reactions, on the flip side i dont want to make things worse than they already are so i might take some time and think it over.
will you be continuing your injections until you speak with your doctor?
I don’t think I’m going to be doing any more injections until I speak with him, if this is an allergic reaction that doesn’t seem safe. I finally started having heart palpitations today as well. I’m going to call his office tomorrow and hopefully have him fax in a new prescription and push blood work back a bit. I found that Walgreens carries a brand that does not have benzyl benzoate or benzyl alcohol in it. It uses chlorobutanol instead. It is also in sesame oil. Hopefully I can make it happen.
It does sound a bit hard to believe, I agree but I’m open to anything. I just don’t see any other way I could get away with taking 600mg a week before and now I can’t even manage 14mg. I had not a single side effect on 600mg, mental or physical. Not a single shred of anxiety or any rise in blood pressure, just put on about 30 lbs in 10 weeks and felt amazing.
Found this googling:
“Most allergic reactions occur within hours to two weeks after taking the medication and most people react to medications to which they have been exposed in the past. This process is called “sensitization.” However, rashes may develop up to six weeks after starting certain types of medications.”
Two weeks is consistent with my timeline. Also reading a lot of food allergies can cause high pulse/blood pressure so I seriously hope I’m into something here. Low t sucks but not being able to treat it would suck a lot more
Yeah I can understand that, alot of my old friends did cycles of around that much and more without any kind of issues.
I cant speak for myself because I’ve never done a cycle so I wouldnt know lol.
Holy shit my GP actually prescribed me testosterone enanthate wants to see if I react the same to that medication. Since it’s my GP it costs me hardly anything. Guess I just had to keep pestering him lol.
Does that enanthate have benzyl benzoate in it? I got my doctor to do the same today but I can’t pick mine up till the end of the day
Delatestryl does not have benzyl benzoate or benzyl alcohol in it, it’s the one I’m asking the pharmacy for just FYI. You should do the same if you can
Honestly im not sure because when i went to the pharmacy today they did not have it on hand so i have to wait until Wednesday for it to arrive. When i pick it up i will check with the pharmacist, although im not sure its my call to make but we will see i guess.
I’m pretty sure you can ask them for brand name as long as it’s enanthate and it is the same concentration. Up to you. Just saying because I had the same exact reaction to enanthate in grape seed oil with benzyl benzoate and benzyl alcohol. It would help if you could guinea pig it for us haha
