As normal guy do I really need this much T (no I’m not nuts)
total t 1020 range 240-950
free t 44.9 range 9.0-30
On hrt 1/2 ml every week test cyp.
The levels were checked the day after injection.
I don’t get the gym as much as I should etc. do i really need or want to mess with my health up at these levels?
Could I divide the dose even more and be a wimp possibly using insulin needles? I’ve read here that some say they work.
Thanks for your help
IMHO, your b/w was on the wrong day. It should have been done the day BEFORE your injection, or at least 1/2 way between shots. A total T of 1020 is not huge by any standard. You have seen the “Low T, early death” article I hope? Men with higher T levels as as they age are less prone to the plaque of Alzheimer’s, stronger heart muscles mean a better chance of recovery if a heart attack occurs, higher T levels also help to keep the arteries softer and more flexible too.
I inject my T EOD, and it takes 5 minutes to warm the bottle, draw it through a 25 gauge needle, and inject. Th ere are some using smaller needle and small doses injecting SQ, but I haven’t tried that routine. Yet. A 25 gauge needle is pretty small and rather painless too. Did I answer your question?
I agree with KNB, you had your blood draw on the wrong day. I do mine the morning before I am due to inject. I inject depending on my work schedule, sometimes EOD or M-W-F, some weeks it’s M-F.
If I injected M-W-F the next week I get my lab on monday prior to my injection to see what my steady state levels are.
If the only time I have to inject for a couple weeks is M-F I choose Thursday for my draw day.
I know of a few guys that get their shot in the morning, and that is the night they show their wifes how much they love them. We’re talking 10-12 hours here, but 24 hours later levels will be even higher.
Haven’t asked about your E2 levels, what are they right now? Post if you know. Thanks.
