I am 5 ‘10’ 180lb and I am going through the same problem with you. I eat clean up to 4000-4500 kcal a day and on the weekend I eat whatever and still will not gain a pound. The highest weight gain was 187lb and then some how it went away.

LOL…it just went away? I can imagine how frustrating that can be. You spend money, time and effort to stuff yourself and nothing happens. I on the other hand have to watch what I eat. I remember eating 3800 to 4200 cals and I was gaining a pound a day. After 19 days, I was 15lbs heavier. Obviously gaining weight that fast didn’t do too well for my body composition.
i also have a fast metabolism. however i had a “scratch” you could call it on the internal wall of my intestine which was affecting my absorbtion of nutrients and such. it is basically what an ulcer looks like before it turns into an ulcer.
i have recently been dieting and taking supplements to get rid of this problem and i go see my naturopath next week to see if it has gone away.
i was stagnating on my gains for a couple months because of this problem. i’m hitting the gym this fri to start my bulking cycle.
you could be fucked up too? =D
