Have any of you guys heard of an all you can eat seafood buffett called Todai? I am living in hawaii right now and went to this place the other day, it’s gotta be the best place ever! It is a chain and they have locations in california, anyone know if they are good in california also? Just wanted to let everyone know about this place, I must’ve eaten about 500g of protein in one sitting there, haha
Ive been there, they have one here in Huntington Beach. Its ok, it was about $20/ head. I would recommend it if you are into seafood, although dont go there looking for good chinese food. I thought the food was too cold also.
Aloha MTJ or was it MJT?
So you’ve dipped your hand into Todai huh? Good for ya. Go on your birthday next time for a discount lol. Since I try to steer away from buffets I probably go there about twice a yr. Which isn’t too bad considering that there’s usually a long line to get in. There are other places on Oahu where you can enjoy similar if not better all-you-can-eat seafood buffets.
Gotta comment on the last post…most of the food is cold because it’s raw. They have the deep fried and steamed stuff for the people who are generally afraid of raw fish. But try eating 2 pounds of raw korean-style black bean poke’, tastes good but your stomach takes a mean beating. Then again not much people can eat 2 pounds of raw fish.
I also live in Huntington Beach and been to the one here. I thought it was garbage. The sushi was stiff as cardboard most likely because it was sitting out all day long. I would rather go to a normal sushi bar. On the other hand, I have been to the one in San Diego and it was great. I guess it depends on the location.
