I’m not sure what CT said about PX but he did say he himself would have to lose at least 25lb. PX easily has twice as much fat on his body as CT in those videos.
As for that 30lb, I was pretty much just throwing that number out there. Doing actual calculations…
LOL yes, we’ll make sure we take your word over that of CT, an experienced trainer who actually spent time training with the guy and directly critiquing his physique, made ON FUCKING VIDEO.

Sadly we won’t. Ever.
Thats why this circus of a thread makes no sense.
The tooth-cleaner doesn’t have it in him to diet down to do a show, and there’s no fucking reason he needs to to prove himself to a bunch of faceless personae on the interwebz.
He made his intentions clear at several points on the forum: to get as close to PRO size as he possibly could while still getting a professional education and having a career.
He pointed out Way’s (and others) potential when they first posted, and thanks to some of his posts a few years back a bunch of young hopefuls actually made progress, and guys like Way eclipsed some aspects of PX’s development in a fraction of the time. This is also why some of these “newer vets” want to do their part to help him free himself from yes-men who contribute nothing of value. Not just a backlash for the “mean things” the cruel professor said over several years.
A bunch of wastes of sperm who have NO physiques to speak of, and with little to show except stupid looking pose after stupider looking “flexing attempt” in their profile pics decided to capitalize to take pot shots and rub off some credibility by association with the “newer vets”. No offence, Skynett.
The usual trolls decided to join the thread and engage all and sundry.

Sounds like the makings of an epic movie script… A veteran trainer takes promising young trainees under his wing… they learn all his methods and secrets, eventually surpassing him… then the young trainees rebel against him starting a three-year war… and in the end the veteran trainer finds that his young pupils were only trying to break him free from the chains of the Yes-Men!

Yes yes thats the story of the BB forum, but this particular thread is little more than the back and forth between the protagonists (already named), punctuated by the comic relief demanding they get paid (already named).

ROFL…I think you’re the best new addition from the class of 2011!!!

low intense cardio just enough to burn the excess fat combined with heavy weight training seems to work well for many other bodybuilders as well (both enhanced and natural)…To each his own however there is many ways to skin a cat.
Good post…and overall, I agree. However, I think the reason it was focused on with me is that I have never been leaned down to sub-10% levels as that was never a goal. For someone like that who already has the size, I can see how conditioning training by itself can have a large effect…and trust me, I do think some are missing how important the nutrition aspect is to having this work in a BODYBUILDING sense.
Without that nutrition strategy, I would not expect to see the same results.
CT flat out said in CO that you won’t see the same effect without it. I don’t know if they taped him saying it.
Agreed…I think we both understand that the DIET itself and the nutritional aspect needs to be covered to full extinct first before any type of conditioning or cardio can be added…Since this is the Bodybuilding form i still go back to all the bodybuilders around that i know anyway. When it comes time to cut down a bit for either an upcoming show or guest pose all chose to do low-moderate steady state cardio. Wether that means walking on a tredmil or doing the stairmaster fasted steady state seems to be the most favourable method for most pf them. Like i previously stated i think most bodybuilders just want that low impact slow cardio to keep their energy levels up for weight sessions later in the day…infact i recently had this discussion with IFBB pro Fouad Abiad who lives in the same apartment as me…he has chosen to sit out this years olympia and focus specifically on the Arnold classic in March…Having trained with him quite a bit over the year i know for a fact that he relies only on the stairmaster and tredmill for his cardio…I don’t even think he would know what a prowler is LOL…Again many different ways to “get in shape” steady state seems to be the most popular but then again people are having great success with all this sled and car pushing activity…In your case X i think pushing a prowler would a great tool to add to your regime knowing that your diet and nutrition is already covered…it will be interesting to see your progress as you continue towards your goals…best of luck!

People ignore it because they realize that he has noble intentions, and that he wants to do his bit to ensure at least a few of the forum posters don’t end up like you did.
Thats also why HE went to Colorado.
HE went to Colorado because he has a million posts, he’s a “level 4” and people know who he is. Whether you love him or hate him almost everyone watched the videos which is exactly what Biotest wants.
and what is this “to ensure at least a few of the forum posters don’t end up like you did” business to Skynett…He’s a big dude.
As for the weight…numbers don’t lie. If you agree he’s at least 20% bodyfat you really can’t make an argument against what I said. Maybe CT meant 40lb of pure fat to lose.

Hey X, do you think CT might be just saying that to push the Biotest supps?

LOL. I have no doubt some pros would run away from the idea of pushing a sled. I am also pretty sure that some like Ronnie might actually get into it if he was still shooting for the top spot considering all of the work he put into things like lunges in a super hot parking lot after leg training or the stair stepper. I think things are slowly changing a little seeing as far fewer bodybuilders today seem to be having the health issues that affected the previous “90’s bodybuilder scene”.
Like I said, I am not yet convinced this is ideal for initially GAINING. I think it would probably mostly benefit guys who already have the size on them but now need to change the focus of their training. For instance, I would like to see how someone like “Thoughts” on this site will do considering he does have some size on him but could still use a bit more.
Synergy used to play pro football. He isn’t just some guy who only trained in his spare time. He also worked on conditioning for weeks before he went up there and he stated he still had trouble with the air in CO. My own training had previously incorporated zero conditioning training. I wasn’t training like an athlete. I was mostly training for maximal size with very little focus on maintaining a certain body fat percentage.
Even though the difference over the last few months has been more than 30lbs of body weight, I think the fact that I had just lost that weight may have effected my capacity for this stuff also.
But yeah, maybe the strategy should be different once you get really lean and are trying to hold onto the most muscle possible…but I can definitely see its importance here especially for the guy who trained for size but otherwise was behind a desk all day.
