who cares if people think that you got to your size by using light weights… who cares if you DID get to your size by using light weights?
If you’re in it for BB reasons then its size, shape and symmetry that matter… not how much weight you lift right?

Yah you are exactly right. Which is why watching X in these videos is pretty eye opening.
This is someone who has been lifting for 20 years and believes he is hot shit yet has a very imbalanced physique, I don’t get what all the hype is about at this point.
For him to claim he has a bigger/more developed back than Ronnie Rockel and than CT say at the end of their back training video that Prof X’s back should be much bigger and wider was hilarious to me. Yet for some reason he takes so much pride in not taking pictures of his physique to asses these weak points. Medial and rear delt are completely overshadowed by his front delt, no triceps and no lats…after 20 years of training. Take pictures of your physique, kids.
No understanding of following coaching cues, how to position your torso to target a specific muscle and apparently no awareness of performing an exercise without momentum as the prime mover or holding a peak contraction etc etc. I feel like all of this stuff should be extremely obvious to such an experienced trainee.
I learned a lot from the videos and they were a good watch but I hope X watches these and becomes a little more humble on these forums because he’s not nearly as far along in this as he thinks he is.

I don’t really have a preference, I just thought it was funny that he did that when he called everyone else by their real names. I guess a part of it is that I’m curious what your first name is.
Why? What relevance in life would you need to know his first name? Not coming to his defense lord knows X can defend himself. But why cant he have or anybody have some privacy as a professional?
…answer? They aren’t professionals and have no concept of what you are talking about. Most of these guys are still in college or younger…but seem to think they have way firmer a grasp on reality than you or I.
I’ve experienced a whole lot for a person of any age, believe me. I’m not going to try to justify myself to you though.
Why don’t you ask Austin_Nutsack and WaylanderIlovetosuckcock who love to jump on threads. I’m being no better than them right now but it’s really getting to me man.
I hope… one day… certain people can learn to put stupid bullshit aside and just run alongside each other in the sand together for a couple minutes… then rejoice… in a montage…

O fuck, so watching this now.
And X is okay, but let’s turn this into a Jelena thread instead, hmm?

Unracking the bar in front of you for the first time and then trying to kick the bench backwards with the barbell extended over your head is obviously not and optimal setup for overhead pressing LOL. In hindsight i’m sure CT and PX would have done that differently.

no complaints here
I don’t get how the people complaining that the weights used were light don’t understand that after using mostly machines to train that using a bar is going to be extremely awkward. Also, many of the movements CT uses aren’t used by 99% of the training population. This is why PX looked uncoordinated, but in reality that’s completely normal. Most of us would look like fools doing completely new movements IN FRONT OF A CAMERA.
Also throw in the fact that CT utilizes techniques that make using very heavy weight hard. But this is bodybuilding, not powerlifting; who cares how much weight is being used. If one can get a better workout using 25lbs instead of 50lbs, then use the 25lbs!
PX looked like a newb in the videos because he was a newb(for the week) as the exercises, techniques and form was new to him. We’d all be newbs there(except the people who already trained there obv.)

I dont know I find it kind of weird that people care so much about one guy, like if you dont like X then why the hell are you watching videos of him working out? Then after that taking more time out of your day to criticize the guy on an exercise he obviously hasn’t done in a while and then waste EVEN more time waiting for replies so you can add more insults and comments, seriously? Am I the only one that thinks that’s a bit gay? I like X if it wasn’t for him i wouldn’t be where I am now, but you can be sure if I didn’t Id do what any normal guy would do and just not read his posts/videos and leave it at that
