I should add that I felt Netenyahu went out of his way to try and embarrass President Obama on the International Stage.
Did President Obama “add” to the conflict that the two men had? Who actually “started” the conflict between the two men?
I’m sure that everyone has their own perspective…so posting some biased “timeline” is less than useless (IMO). (NOT the one you posted, @loppar…I’m referring to the timelines that “prove” who started the conflict between President Obama and Netenyahu).
He did and succeeded, right or wrong. They were not friends. Israel quit dealing with the Obama administration at the end of 2016 until the new, pro-Israel president sat.
Yes. As long as a foreign nation doesn’t violate the rights of our elected politicians (killing them, stealing from them or kidnapping them on a state visit) they’re free to treat people as individuals. If Sadiq Kahn somehow barred Trump from visiting London I’d be A-okay with it. It’s their country.
Also recently the Knesset made it literally against the law to allow people pushing BDS into the country. So all this talk of Bibi’s arbitrary nature is pointless. His hands were tied.
