Well, after protecting the Hezbos long enough, they’ve (the Hezbos) effectively rearmed. Perhaps even more so than prior to the UN’s stepping in. And now the UN acts surprised…

Oh, and those wonderful Hezbohs are back to setting up rockets in populated areas, of course. Israel is stating flat out, if these areas are used to fire rockets, yet again, they will flatten them. They say they will allow a window of time for the withrawl of non-combatants, but then they’re flattening the area.

So once again, the Hezbos will use non-combatants as human shields, rockets will be fired, and predictably it will be Israel certain people will bitch about. “Look at them bombing civilian homes!” Even after certain people have justified hiding amongst civilians, effectively turning them into human shields.

Anyways, what’s the UN’s record now with these peacekeeping missions? And do they maybe get it now? Exactly what Israel is dealing with?

Tell me this. How do you peacefully hand back land to a population whose authorities (political and religious) believe it is a muslim’s duty to kill Jews as a means to usher in the hour of judgement?

I lost any sympathy for the palistinians after the umteenth-million attack targeting Israeli civilains, not governements buildings, institutions or the military, but regular people. Right now, the blood on the hands of the palistinians and their government elect is measured in metric tonnes. If they really wanted peace, I’d feel different, but they will declare endless war on Israel to the detriment of their own people. Israel ain’t going anywhere.
Besides, left to their own devices, if they aren’t killing Israelis then they kill each other or Christians. I guess as long as they are killing somebody they are happy.
