Irishmen fought an died in territories comprising over 100 modern day countries. Also, Ireland as integral part of the UK prior to 1922 (see above) was belligerent territory in those wars.

I did read your posts and they are very detailed and I appreciate your knowledge of the situation. I just think your putting the cart in front of the horse. Dealing with border issues would be step 2 after the Palestinians accept the existence of Israel and disavow violence towards them. Everything else is secondary to that very issue. That’s why a 2 state solution is not possible.
Everything else is really just move to a 1 state solution because it’s blatantly obvious, even under the most generous of conditions the Palestinians will not accept a solution where Israel is a place or even a concept. It’s pointless to talk about borders until concessions are made by the Palestinians. It’s a really low bar, but it’s not going to happen… at least we agree on that.
