I am going to start talking with random girls at my school. If they like me I will ask for their number.

Whenever I talk with one I will just log the experience on this thread.

I’m not gonna have some set goal in mind because then it’ll just make me anxious.
I wanna do this in some kind’ve ooga booga primal mode without thinking about it

Vector away from random girls and pick random humans instead. Don’t treat one gender like a different species

No reason to ā€œshut upā€ or anything, and I’m not scolding you, I think this is an important learning experience to break down for you. @T3hPwnisher is 100% correct - treating girls like they’re different, or all potential interests, comes off as forced and awkward, so don’t do that, but when you DO speak to a girl, especially one you’re interested in, not being able to see meaning behind what they’re saying can lead to disaster.

I like your attitude, and on the lifting front, keep up the awesome work, too.

Was supposed to do the 3 x 10 deadlifts after squatting but I went home due to a bunch of glass getting all over my lifting gear. I also got impaled by a tiny piece of glass just by wiping down my pants. I had to surgergically remove that piece with my fingers.

Lol, I appreciate the memes and stuff man, but seriously it’s all about what you put in to it. Just keep doing what you’re doing. You’re so far ahead of the game in my opinion I started lifting when I was 28. You just turned 19. You have a million years to do what you want to do. Crush it dude. Just keep doing what you’re doing and take advantage of the time you have.

Edit: also, look into pwns and flaps run through of deepwater. They both absolutely.murdered the program with a lot less complaining than me haha.

Talked to some dude in my class named kameron. He’s a very very quiet fellow. I just said what’s up to him and asked what he’s been up to lately. Then I said I been getting bombarded with a lot of work.

Lol I should just talk with everyone in my class.
We all share the same major so maybe by me being a bit acquainted with them it’ll get them to get involved in my org

I broke out of my failing a quiz depression with these thoughts. This was due to thinking about what someone told me yesterday. There’s a 52 year old man I been talking to a bit in the major class that I failed my quiz in. I would count him as Human #2 but technically he’s not a new person. He gave some advice to me about me being president of the org. Ngl I hate mentioning the fact I’m president like 20 million times on this log. I feel like an ass. Besides that he said try doing something with the org that would give students a greater sense of purpose rather than some organization that’s floating around.

I actually thought of a few ideas.

Let’s be real. A construction management student needs industry experience.

I would love if members could have some scope of work on different projects (with or without pay) . Maybe the org can team up one or several contractors or engineering firms. But the problem is, even with my little industry experience I know there’s a problem. Project contracts and also the fact that students would probably be seen as a liability. Also internships are kinda for that.

This org can be involved with habitat for humanity. Lol like we should just go get our hands dirty and help build houses. Problem: Kinda ridiculous but I don’t think any cm major actually wants to do any physical labor. I can understand that though.

Imma be honest I’m really liking the first idea I came up with. Man imagine that along with the events we have planned this year. As someone who knows how an arrogant mind works. I think most would assume a student organization is useless. I want to completely destroy that thought.

You could make sure to get everybody signed up as Student Members (like free or reduced membership fees) of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) or Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) or some other industry/professional organization.

Then you could organize a trip to one of their nation conferences to network and rub elbows.

Personally I do deadstop. But, tng amd deadatop will feel like shit no matter what when it comes to high reps. I do not feel so hot rn.

I feel I could’ve gotten 20 on the first set if ignored the burning feeling on my hammies. Regardless I’m shocked at what I’m able to do. Such a nice program.

Brought my airpods so I hyped myself up with the first set. I listened to zillakami.

I was supposed to do light 3 x 10 squats. I prefer to do these after the big sets just so I have a winner mindset for them. I honestly just got lazy and skipped them.
