That’s normal. I been bouncing around that weight last time I remember.

It’s not the diet that bothers me just timing but i’m sure i’ll figure it out. I didn’t buy that meal prep lunch bag for nothing.

Based off your time, experience, and reading of the program, I am curious what you think the answer is before I provide it.

Went to Walmart

Bought 60 eggs
3 jars of peanut butter
Peanuts
Big tub of whey protein
Smaller tub of whey protein

Signed up for golds gym membership online
(Have to go there in person to officially be a member)

My internship is awesome (first day was today). I met everyone in the construction management department and some in the engineering department. I actually visited a real construction site today and just shadowed a construction manager and inspector. I finally got a vest and a hard hat. I hoping to start deep water next week. I could not get all the food I wanted due to time but, hey whatever I have now is a decent start. I’m hoping to start deep water beginner next week.

Yup.
Deepwater on monday or tuesday. Got my barcode so I’m ready to go. My mom might make me drive around to go shopping on monday sigh.

Ignore my finger nail. Forgot nail clippers but got them today.

Treasure these moments dude. I don’t get to see my mom nearly as much as I’d like to these days. Toward my last years of high school, we became good friends. I miss those times.

I’m excited for you diving into Deep Water. It goes without saying, but make sure you’ve read the book at LEAST once, but a few times is good. There’s a lot of gold in it. If you like podcasts, Jon has done a few of them as well. He’s more focused on diet vs training when it talks, but he’s just a fascinating dude.

I’m so ready for Deep Water
I already have a plan of when I’ll eat meals.
It won’t be hard. No one at my job office is a corporate scum bag. There’s a lot of freedom. If there’s no work to be done then I don’t have to look busy. I’ll bring 3 meals and a protein shake and consume that at work. Then when I get back to the apartment I’ll eat again then take a big steamy crap. Then go sleepy night night.

I’ll read the book tomorrow since I got nothing going on.

Start the book now :wink: Get in the habit of not delaying. Even just 1 page will put you ahead.

Absolutely awesome man, glad you are finding a way to work it into the schedule and congrats again on the internship, too.

I agree with pwn, I love spending time with my mom and I’m lucky enough to live about a mile from my parents. Definitely don’t take those moments for granted. They won’t last forever.

I wish I had a better idea of my rep maxes and stuff at the start, so try and figure out where your weights are going to be for everything. Def read through the book and get into the mindset you’ll need for this. It gets a little crazy haha. Your confidence will go a long way though dude. Super excited to see you get into the program!

Any thoughts on which you’ll be running? Just the beginner portion?

At a certain point you (people in general) should realize how freaking awesome (most) moms are. Having mine in my life is one of the things I’m most grateful for, and @tlgains, mundane stuff like running errands could be a fond memory for you someday.

I’m gonna try and run all of them. Right now is the beginner program which will take me towards the end of my internship. Not so sure about the other programs in college. I could probably figure out how to balance my time tho.

**Deep Water Beginner **

Week 1
Monday Meal # 1

I thought I would just post my meals like @boilerman. Lmao don’t expect anything fancy like he does I’m a total noob when it comes to cooking. But yk since I’m here with my mom, we are going food shopping so I can just have her show me how to cook.

9 scrambled eggs cooked with olive oil and cheese
1/4 cup of peanuts

Ngl this took me like 2 hours to eat. Afterwards I got started on a protein shake but I only drunk half so I’ll finish the rest later. (The protein also tastes like complete shit but hey it was pretty cheap)

2 hours to eat is gonna hinder things a little. May look into some sort of “food lubircant” to help get it down. I’m a big fan of sour cream on eggs for just that reason, but if that’s not your jam, sugar free ketchup is Jon Andersen approved.

Good idea Pwn. I’ll pick up some Buffalo sauce today. I was curious and tried that with eggs like a week ago. It’s actually pretty good.
